Description

My partner and I live on the farm where I'm a market gardener, and he's an intermittent musician. We can accommodate walkers and hikers (on foot, donkey or horseback), and I have dogs, cats, chickens, donkeys and sheep. My companion and I are often out and about on daily or nightly markets. (We buy vegetables, jams, chestnut cream, walnut oil and eggs on the spot).

The setting

the land is by the river and at the foot of the forest, it's a farm atmosphere with life and animals! With neighbors all around, who need to be respected. In the morning, the roosters crow at dawn, and at night, the dogs sometimes bark (not all night) to scare off deer and wild boar. It's in the middle of nature, with insects, and a "rustic" way of life, but with minimum comfort!

The spots

there are shady, flat spots to pitch a tent, and plenty of parking in the parking lot.

The sanitary facilities

I have outdoor dry toilets (covered), and an outdoor shower (covered), with hot water when the sun shines (solar water heater).

The amenities

There's plenty of outdoor cooking equipment, and a dining table with crockery, bowls, gas stove, etc. There's a cell phone charger, sockets in the outdoor kitchen and a washing machine.

The activities

Hiking, swimming in the Lot (depending on the season), shows in a village in summer, summer night markets on Wednesday evenings in Saint Parthem, Friday evenings in Decazeville; museums, swimming pools in the area, canoeing 45 minutes away, visits to farms and animals!

Other things

Many animals live on the property, it's a lively place, 4 dogs are permanently on the farm, very friendly, a little sticky, chickens, and rooster who wake up in the morning....

Rules

It's not just a place to live, it's also my place of work. In summer, I work a lot and need to rest (no music or noise too late in the day)....; in short, let's talk about it together!
