Description

We offer a nice pitch for caravans, motorhomes and campers with a beautiful view of Staufenberg Castle. Directly at the site is an electricity connection, a water tap for fresh water and our garbage cans can be used for household waste with pleasure.

The setting

The highway A 485 is only about 3 minutes away, so you have a very good connection. Our property is located in a small quiet residential area outside of Staufenberg. Nevertheless, one is in about 15 minutes in the city center of Giessen or Marburg.
The view of Staufenberg Castle is simply magical. The castle is about 10 minutes walk away.

The spots

The pitch is gravelled and at ground level. When driving in, you have to maneuver a little, because the property is on a slope and the road is rather narrow. When maneuvering, however, my mother and I support very gladly.

The activities

The area around Staufenberg offers many hiking and biking trails. In about 3 KM distance is a boat and canoe entrance. Canoes can be reserved and rented there. In addition, the area around Giessen and Marburg offers great excursion destinations, such as the castles Gleiberg and Vetzberg, the monastery Schiffenberg . One of the highest mountains in the area is the nearby Dünsberg with about 500m. Here you can make beautiful walks or use the bike trails. Everything is only about 15 minutes away by car.

Marburg has a beautiful old town, which invites you to stay. In the center of Giessen is every Wednesday and Saturday a nice market, with many goodies from the area.
In the vicinity there is a large Kaufland, Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, DM, Rossmann, Kik, etc., as well as some restaurants and fast food and pharmacies nearby.

A friendly and fair interaction is important to us. We are ready to help and are also happy to accommodate special requests (e.g. delivery of fresh rolls).
Smoking is allowed on our property, but butts belong in the trash.
