Description

We propose you to immerse yourself in the middle of nature, in a collective place of life where several families of farmers, craftsmen and artists are gathered ready to welcome you in the space "camping" arranged with solar shower, dry toilets and possible connection to electricity.

The setting

We propose a stay in the middle of nature where you will be able to leave on foot and make many hikes in the surroundings. Many activities are possible in the surroundings. The animals of the farm on the domain are an integral part of the place. Not a single noise around (except when it's us who make it, or our animals!) In the evening, the sky is full of stars, because without any visual pollution they give themselves in spectacle!

The spots

The domain is composed of 57 ha in total. A "camping area" has been set up with the possibility of setting up in the shade in the morning or in the afternoon. Although it is easy to create a private space, there are no "pitches". It is possible to access the site with vehicles up to 30 tons! Even if the dirt road to get there has a few holes it is still passable!

The sanitary facilities

In our camping area, there is access to water, solar showers that heat well, with wooden cabins, and dry toilets.

The amenities

We are "off the grid", but we can connect the wifi if necessary or lend a computer. A landline phone is also available in the residents' room... We will soon have an outdoor kitchen. For the moment it is easier to be autonomous in the kitchen. An extra charge will be asked if you use the collective kitchen... Electricity is available free of charge, but the connection of a vehicle is possible, a supplement of 2 euros will then be asked.

The activities

On the spot you will be able to meet the locals, all of whom have many skills in handicrafts, agriculture and other areas. The animals of the farm are visible and very nice! You can visit the horses, the sheep, the goats, the donkeys, etc...
Many walks are possible around the place but by walking a little more you will be able to join the village of Rennes-le-château, the village of Rennes-les-bains (with its river), the Bézu, Granès, Bugarach...

Other things

Animals are welcome but on a leash for dogs, our chickens and goats are often free and the risks are too great for us...

Rules

The campsite is open from April 15 to October 15. It is free for children under 12 years old. Fires are not allowed unless they are made by the locals. We like to share, musical evenings, open-air cinema and other activities and are happy to welcome you among us during the season!
