  • Great place
    Clean
    Great for a one-night stay
I'll keep this address for a future visit to the area.

  • Everything went well for us. The manager is very friendly. Clean toilets (cleaned twice a day).
Coon kitchen (planchas, coffee maker, kettle, fridge).
Well located for visiting the various sites in the area.

  • An open-air rock concert lasting more than 3 a.m. just a few yards from the venue prevents me from being objective. What's more, 3 euros of electricity for a 15-watt light for 3 hours seems excessive... clearly, I'm rather disappointed.

  • Great campsite, very friendly ...
Shower, toilet, fridge, plancha and washing machine available.
We had a superb vacation for a very reasonable price, and what's more, with our dog who was pampered by the other adventurers.it's located in a super charming village halfway between the Lac de Sainte-Croix and the Lac du Castillon.we'll be back ...be sure of it!!! ????????????

  • Not great, no welcome, we saw no one. We had booked a place with electricity. When we arrived, they were all taken. No marked pitch. The toilets were clean, but that's all we remembered. Dogs all around, having a field day. We left the next day. 25 euros lost.

  • I'm disappointed with this campsite. In the evening, there was a lot of noise, music and people talking without respecting other campers. The common areas were more or less clean. The little extras were the plancha and the fridge (which couldn't be used by everyone, as it was full and super dirty to boot). The idea of offering sofas to relax on was a nice one, but they were almost all damaged. This campsite could do with a little sprucing up. What's really practical, though, is the little square 2 steps from the campsite, which offers a few restaurants as well as a small, inexpensive mini-market. Personally, I wouldn't come back to this campsite, but it might appeal to others.

  • Far too many people in August...1st come 1st served, so there's a bit of chaos when it comes to available places. Cleanliness correct location very good, but noisy because of a pack of dogs barking in the morning in the houses next door ...

  • Small, quiet and clean campsite, but we didn't see the owner, just the employee, who was very nice.

  • A decent campsite in a particularly good location. The village of La Palud is very pretty, with plenty of affordable food shopping and many walks and activities in the surrounding area. The campsite itself is quite small, which is very pleasant, but the terrain is a little sloping, especially on some pitches, which can still be avoided.

Please note that there are no garbage cans on the campsite; they are on the other side of the road at the entrance. Not very practical.

The sanitary facilities are not all very clean, rather basic. Quite ok.
On the other hand, it is indicated to be careful with water because of the drought, but all the taps are automatic push-button, so for the use of small quantities of water there is a lot of waste.

The kitchen is equipped with 2 planchas, which is very practical for cooking.

As 2 young women, we felt we were in a very masculine environment, with very imposing neighbors, so not very secure in that respect.
The presence of calmer families reassured us. We wondered whether this was inherent in the fact that this was a climbers' campsite, or whether we'd just got off on the wrong foot.

  • Friendly campsite, ideal location for visiting the gorges and taking the route des Crêtes. Few sanitary facilities for the number of visitors, but clean. A warm welcome.
A little different from the Homecamper spirit, however, as this is still a campsite and not a home-stay.

  • Great campsite, top reception and sanitary facilities, convenient location, sheltered area to relax and kitchen equipment. I'll be back with pleasure!

  • Suitable campsite
Clean toilet, shower and shared kitchen.
Good village atmosphere with a concert.

  • Booking the day before, quick response.
Simple and efficient campsite with all the essentials. Perfect for my van trip.

  • The campsite is ideally located in the heart of the natural and cultural activities of the Verdon Park. It's a welcoming place, frequented by campers from all walks of life. The communal area makes for great get-togethers around the plancha, the fridge makes it easy to stock local foodstuffs, and the sanitary facilities are cleaned every day. A great spirit of sharing pervades the place, and it was the ideal place to discover this magnificent region with my two boys.

  • This small campsite is very friendly and pleasant.
Ivan, who welcomed us, is always smiling and gives good advice on things to do in the area.
Very good stay for us and the children, who had their first camping experience and were very happy with it.
We would recommend this campsite, where we had a great time talking to the host and other campers...very nice week!

  • It's a campsite!
Nothing to do with the home camper philosophy. Located on the side of the road it is noisy, however close to beautiful sites to see and hikes to do. Note if you go directly through the campsite you pay 2€ less and electricity is not included in the price.

  • nice place, fair price

  • We spent three nights at Fabien's little campsite, a great place, quiet, simple and with no pressure. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and functional, as are the shared areas. The shared plancha and fridge are a real plus!
Just 20 minutes from Lac de Sainte Croix, at an altitude of 1000m, it's an ideal spot to sleep in the cool of summer!
    Thanks for the warm welcome

  • Fabien is very available. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Very quiet place and from where you can go on many routes. Totally recommended!

  • The host is very welcoming and accommodating, nice little spot to spend the night, shops next door.

  • Very friendly welcome and lovely, quiet campsite with a beautiful view.

  • Very warm welcome, good pitches, clean sanitary facilities. Fridge, barbecue and washing machine available. Would recommend.

  • Everything is perfect, except for the barking dogs, the nights near the campsite.

  • Hello. We stayed from June 20 to 23, we came to rest and relax, we were not disappointed, beautiful surroundings, beautiful greenery, Fabien has reserved a warm welcome. We'll be back again.
    Ouahiba and jean paul.

  • Thank you very much for your warm welcome! We had a great time at your campsite with our little girl and everything was perfect! ???????? We will recommend you to everyone!

  • Great campsite!
Warm welcome. Pitch in the middle of greenery. Close to everything. Really delighted with this discovery. Ready to go back. Highly recommend.

  • Nice and clean place
    very good reception
clean sanitary, fridge and grill available

  • A superb place with very attentive and accommodating hosts. Thank you very much for your warm welcome. See you soon.

  • We were warmly welcomed by Fabien, always present to advise us, help us and answer our questions. The campsite and the common areas are well maintained and the location is perfect to discover the Verdon gorges. Only some noise nuisance at night disturbed us, totally independent of the campsite and the campers. Thank you for everything!

  • Great little campsite
    Beautiful view
    Excellent communication with Fabien
    I highly recommend

  • small, nice and quiet campsite with all the necessary comfort (electricity on demand, clean sanitary facilities and more), to recommend

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Camping Bourbon, we planned for two nights and ended staying 4!
Very friendly space, perfect weather and many things to do in the area.
    We recommend 100%

  • Perfect!

  • Good experience in this small campsite where Fabien welcomed us very well

  • Pleasant campsite, top sanitary facilities, beautiful view, friendly welcome and a very funny and playful dog. We recommend it !

  • Perfect place as the reception!
    The sanitary facilities are clean.
    Very quiet and restful.
    We recommend it.

  • First experience with a home camper which was perfect.
Small, friendly, clean campsite where everything is available. You will find a small corner relaxation with table and armchair.
The center is at two steps on foot and we find the essential there and in more Fabien is top.

  • Everything is very good at Fabien's place, good reception, everything is available
What is missing is a thermostat for the water in the showers we found the water really hot to shower
    Otherwise everything is perfect
    Thank you

  • A small campsite at the top, offering a magnificent view on the road of the peaks.
A great welcome with good advice to visit the surroundings.

  • Very nice place, we will come back ????

  • Pleasant campsite

  • Very good welcome from Fabien.
The campsite is very well located, in a small and pleasant village with everything you need.

  • Simple and efficient campsite, well placed. Clean sanitary facilities
    Pleasant reception

  • Excellent experience. This is not a home stay but a Roots camping, simple, well placed to discover the welcoming Verdon. The ground is flat, shaded, without hedges. A covered terrace welcomes us. The sanitary facilities are simple. Presence of a washing machine. The owner and the mascot are ultra warm. We recommend

  • Very good little campsite for one night or more like us (1 week), the city center is 5 minutes walk with a mini-market, café.
There are many things to do from the palud (route des crêtes ; rando blanc Martel ; ferme aux faucons ....). 30 minutes from Moustiers, 40 minutes from Castellane ...by car of course.
The toilets are clean (there is even PQ????). There is a fridge with a freezer (very important in this heat) and two planchas as well as a washing machine, and even a composter.
Personally, we were surprised by the services offered for a campsite of this size (about thirty pitches, I think).
Not to mention the reception which is really top notch. They are available, attentive as much towards us as towards the nature.
In short, a campsite to recommend.

  • We stopped for one night, the sanitary facilities were clean and the infrastructures are top. The only downside for us was the proximity of the bars and restaurants in the city center which created a bit of a nuisance in the evening, making it difficult for the children to fall asleep.

  • Great welcome.

  • Unfortunately, we have despite phone call no address where we can put. It only went to voicemail and a callback, despite request in French did not occur.
The place / meadow of which we thought it could possibly be, was very remote and sunny. Even when booking the first request remained without response!

Finally, we can not evaluate the place, because we were on the very nicely located, well equipped and clean camping muncilal in la Palud-sur- Verdon. Has also only 18€ with toilets, showers, washing machine, supply and disposal, chemical toilet and especially electricity. 140 pitches. With us, in mid-July very empty - the better choice !

18€ for nothing is definitely too much!

  • We felt welcome from the first until the last moment. You can have a spot at the edge of the campsite were you can see the mountains. We liked the owner a lot, he always had a warm smile and is a super sympathetic dude. We would definitely return to this easy going campsite with a really nice and enjoyable atmosphere! Thanks to all of you!
