hello and welcome to our home

The setting

You'll be staying in a naturally enclosed area, calm and green, right in the heart of the first Jura plateau. You'll have a view of the Cote de l'Hute and be able to enjoy a stroll through our pretty little village with its stone houses and 3 fountains.

The spots

The plot is located behind our house, with independent access to the side of the house via two easy-access gates (vehicle size limited to 2.50 m wide). The plot is flat throughout.
You'll have 5000 M2 of space where you can set up wherever you like.

The sanitary facilities

you'll have free access to the dry toilets, and an explanation of how they work will be provided.

The amenities

3G/4G mobile internet is available in the field.

You can rent two bicycles to discover the area from the house.

For water we have a tap outside the house where we can easily fill a tank or vat or do it yourself ...

If you come to stay in a camping car or caravan, waste water cannot be emptied on the site or even on our premises. Please empty your waste water before you arrive.

The activities

Many activities are available in our beautiful region:

You can discover one of the most beautiful villages in France: baume les messieurs, with its magnificent waterfall, just a few km from the site.

You're 16 km from Lac de Chalain, where swimming and fishing are sure to please.

you're also 20km from Lons le Saunier, with its thermal baths, laughing cow museum for younger visitors, aquatic complex, water fountain square, historic town center and shops.

For hikers, the entire Jura plateau offers many magnificent walks for young and old.

You can also enjoy horse-riding in the village next door, as well as all-terrain scooter rides.

I also rent bicycles without electric assistance. I have two available, one a man's size and the other a woman's size.

Despite all the care we take to make your stay a success, please bear in mind that we are private individuals!

The hygiene of the toilet facilities is essential, so please keep them in excellent condition.

Rules

no noise restrictions after 10pm - common sense applies.

For sorting your garbage, there's a glass bin in front of our house, and for the rest, our garbage cans are accessible in front of the house.

Pets are welcome (please specify when booking).

For campfires, we will mark out a site for you. ( Fire forbidden at the moment )

    Floriane was very careful with us, bringing us boiling water in the morning to add to the water tank in order to shower with warm water because the temperatures were low and the solar shower remained cold.

Because of a problem with our solar panel Floriane provided a 50 meter electricity cable so we could plug in. The gras was freshly cut. They gave us the time and privacy to settle down. As a present Floriane her son brought us 6 eggs from their free running chickens. Very sweet. At night everything was unbelievably quiet. Very dark as well. As we are from Belgium we could appreciate this very much. We were lucky to see the brightest stars. The last day we invited the Floriane family in our caravan and we had a very pleasant conversation. They also gave some recommendations to visit the surroundings. They want to promote 'Le Jura' because they love it so much. We hope, one day to come back here and meet again. It's nice to meet good people like this family. We felt like home.
