Description

We offer a place with a lot of peace and various opportunities to relax. Be it by simply relaxing in the garden, walking in the surroundings, swimming in the surrounding lakes and much more. There are no limits to your imagination. In addition to space for one or two tents on the lawn and a place for a camper in the parking lot, we also rent apartments on AirBnB.

Wood to make fire can be found on the site (you have to collect it:-) There is a fire bowl available, which is in the basement. Please put it on a manhole cover so that the meadow does not burn and put it back after use. 2 crickets are available and are also used by AirBnB guests.
The area is 8,000 m2 and has enough space. 2 units of the building are permanently rented and therefore attention must be paid to evening night rest. Please do not feed the horses on the premises. The wifi does not reach everywhere, it is best to use it directly at the castle or in the foyer.

About the owners: we are a small group of idealists who acquired the listed building, built in the 16th century, in 2014. We plan to establish a cultural project and seminar house there. We have already been able to renovate part of the castle with ecological materials, but we are still at the beginning of a long "journey".

The setting

In the village there is a bakery, butcher shop and here is the horse farm Arhöna. A small swimming lake is in the next village in 2km distance. In the surrounding area there are beautiful hiking and biking trails: e.g. to the Grasburg and to the Ulster. The historic Celtic village in Sünna is 10km away.

The spots

You can camp anywhere on the meadow. A bus can also stand on the meadow. Better, however, in the parking lot in front of the main entrance to the castle.

The sanitary facilities

We unfortunately do not yet have sanitary facilities for camping. An access to the water tap we can provide, as well as an electricity connection. For this please bring hose / canister and long cable.

Rules

Please do not smoke in the castle and pick up butts on the premises.
