Description

This is our third caravan, which sleeps up to 4 people.caravane Messenger

The setting

In the heart of the Landes forest, 13 km from the ocean and around 9 km from Lac d'Aureilhan.

The spots

The caravan is equipped with a double bed (140), a single bed (90) and an additional single mattress (90).

The sanitary facilities

Shared dry toilets. (cleaned at least once a day, 2 to 3 times a day depending on the number of users).
The hot outdoor shower is also shared by all occupants.

The amenities

We provide mattress covers and pillows.
Electrical outlets, fan in summer and access to communal area (Moroccan tent).
please bring your own sheets and blanket/quilt or sleeping bag!

The activities

Ocean. Walks. Lakes.
Relax under the tent or the parasols provided.
Take a dip in the small above-ground pool!

Other things

Please contact us after booking as the address is difficult to find.
Our proximity to the airfield may cause aircraft noise in the morning.
Fires and BBQs are strictly forbidden, as the forest is nearby and fragile.
We ask smokers to be extremely vigilant!

Rules

Smokers will have to be very vigilant in view of the fire hazard in summer!
No smoking in caravans!

  • We spent 15 days with Jean François and Marie. We'd never been to a homecamp before and we were delighted with our stay. This place is conducive to meeting new people, exchanging ideas and enjoying each other's company. We're sure we'll see the people we met here again. We're convinced that this wouldn't have happened in a big-name campsite. Simplicity is worth more than anything, and Jean François and Marie's little attentions are much appreciated. As for the dry toilets (which we were a little worried about before we left), they're perfectly clean.

  • One of the best places we've stayed on our holiday. Jean-Francois & Marie were very kind and i'm glad we stayed at their place for 3 nights.

    It's super quiet, in the middle of nature, but close to the beach & shops if needed. The Moroccan tent/kitchen was a very nice place to cook and to have your dinner in- or outside! Definitely recommend this place.

  • 1st homecamping experience for us. EXCELLENT stay! Marie and Jean-François put us at ease right away. The proposed spaces (caravan or common areas) are well equipped and well maintained. We will return without hesitation!
