Eco-glamping in a rural and maritime setting ?
Nature lovers, at 3,5 km from the ocean, at the end of the Bigouden country and close to the Capiste country (Pointe du Raz), we offer you a furnished tent for rent on our land, close to the house (40m) and to our animals. With its beds, its kitchenette and its equipment, you only have to put your luggage !
Ideally located to discover the bay of Audierne with its surfing and swimming beaches (the beach of Kerrest, the nearest, is supervised in summer), the road of Cider, the Cap Sizun and the Pointe du Raz, the GR34 and the hiking trails, ...
The setting
Our land is located along a hiking trail that goes directly to the town of Plozévet (about 2.5km), accessible by bike or on foot!
On the other side, the path goes into a small valley and crosses a stream.
We live in a locality, with a few scattered neighbors, but your site is well isolated.
You are not far from the beaches, in the calm, in the heart of the countryside, you will be in contact with its life and activities according to the seasons. At home, our activities are organized around the vegetable garden, the henhouse and the animals. You will be welcome to discover them if you wish. Fresh eggs and other seasonal products will be available for sale. On clear nights you can admire the myriad of stars and the Milky Way. Some nights the sea will lull you to sleep...
The spots
The cotton tent "Maréchal" is furnished. It is located at the top of our land and has a clear view on the valley. In autonomy with its table, its chairs, you will be very quiet. The camp is close to the field of Eliot the donkey and the goats, the kitchen and the sanitary facilities. Well exposed, the site ensures you a sunshine all day long. You also have access to the space under the apple trees where there is a large table available.
The tent has a bedroom of about 5.5m2, with a double bed (140*190 cm) and a small bed (80*190 cm), or the possibility of a baby bed, as well as an "entrance-living room" of about 4.2m2 with a good height to stand up. Lightweight furniture allows you to store your groceries and belongings.
We provide comforters, pillows and blankets.
Linen can be rented; sheets (8€/bed) and towels (5€/person) are extra.
The vehicle is to be parked at the edge of our grounds, a few meters from the pitch. We can offer you a shelter for your bikes.
The sanitary facilities
Ecological sanitary facilities and kitchen
Located on the edge of the field and with a clear view on the valley, the facilities are as ecological as possible: solar water, dry toilets, recycled materials, ... They consist of a comfortable cabin for the toilets, a kitchen block protected from the sun and the bad weather by an arbour, with sink, 2 gas fires, solar hot water, sockets, electric kettle, and an icebox. A solar shower hut with a clothes dryer and a 40 liter hot water tank, well sealed to optimize the heat :) is at your disposal! A thermometer indicates the temperature of the hot water and a mixer tap allows you to add cold water.
NB : Depending on the weather, hot showers are possible at home.
The amenities
The camp has kitchen equipment, dishes and storage.
The list of the elements can be communicated to you on request.
An electrical connection is available at the kitchen block (laptop, razor, ...)
Loungers, some games for children, books, and a large table under the orchard are available.
On request, we can provide baby equipment: bathtub, potty, high chair, folding bed.
A wifi connection is available but we do not guarantee the speed...
The activities
According to your desires, hiking, sea, surfing, cultural outings, etc..., are at your door! The beach of Kerrest, the closest to the house, has a supervised swimming in summer and is part of the surfing beaches of the Bay of Audierne.
We are also on the Cider road, with several cider factories to visit :).
You can discover the wonderful landscapes of the Cap Sizun in the Bay of Audierne, pretty cities of character (Pont Croix with its medieval archeosite, Locronan, ...), the calm of the Goyen river, the road of the Solar Wind...

Other things
Beware, calm does not mean silence, and domestic and wild animals are as much at home as we are ;) on the ground. Owls, foxes, deer, roosters, goats, donkeys, birds are present!
The agricultural activities are also present according to the seasons.
