Hello,
We open our "English" garden not far from Chambord and Blois,
located at the immediate borders of the Sologne, in a village rich of 1400 ha of forests, at a few pedal strokes of splendid and prestigious places (Chambord at 10 mn by car or 1h by bike by the forest, bars and restaurants), Cheverny (the famous Moulinsart at 10 mn also, its splendid golf, its festival of Jazz at the end of June) Blois at 10 mn, (jewels of the Loire Valley, its superb castle, bars and restaurants, stores) etc... The region is rich of a more unknown heritage that we will have in heart to make you discover.
Cyclotourists are welcome, we can put your bikes under a shelter.
If you like to camp, but want more comfort, you will choose the Cabane!
Tent space for a small tent and two people maximum, in another corner of the garden.

The setting

Let yourself be lulled by the greenery and the flowers. The song of the birds...
In the heart of the village, close to the bicycle path n°8, to the "Châteaux à vélo" (less than one km)

The spots

Cabin in the style of brocante chic. Wood and rattan, wicker, old dishes ... Equipped with a new sofa bed, comfortable and firm (140 cm) Garden corner, deck chairs, table, chairs ...

The sanitary facilities

You will have access to a shower room in the house, a few dozen meters away.

The amenities

The hut is not connected to electricity, but has lighting anyway. We will lend you an extension cord if necessary. (Laptop computer)
Cooler with ice packs.
Basic kitchen equipment possible (pot, stove). It is not possible to cook inside the hut, but you can do it outside. This is still camping! Cooler with ice breads.

The activities

The region is rich in known and less known treasures, all to be discovered, on foot, by bicycle (loan of vintage bikes possible + helmets + vests)
Castles, gardens, festivals, forests, ponds, swimming pools, swimming, exhibitions, trips on the Loire (boat or canoe/kayak from St Dyé for example)

Other things

Breakfast is included.
If you wish, we can also prepare a hearty brunch for you (12 €)
Simple dishes from 10 euros (fresh and local products)
Tea time 8 euros
VIP welcome (nice teas and herbal teas, coffee, local delicacies)

It will be prudent to reserve.

Rules

Absolutely no smoking for comfort and safety reasons.
Parking on the property. Bicycles in the shelter.
We welcome you from 4:30 pm to 7 pm. Other times on special request.
Departure 10 am.

Linen provided.

The hut accommodates 2 people.

Situation

  • Our stay at Régis and Frédérique's house was marked by a warm and attentive welcome: tasteful decoration in a well-appointed cabin, sound advice on visits and walks, and a pleasant environment (work was in progress when we visited but did not bother us). The bicycles at our disposal allowed us to easily visit the surrounding castles (Chambord, Cheverny, Blois...). We will keep a very good memory of these few days!
