Come and join us in our little paradise for the beautiful days, where respect and discretion are the order of the day, no parties allowed but the opportunity to take a good bowl of nature and rest on a site that (in our humble opinion) is exceptional, one of the rare places of peace for birds and squirrels.
The garden is very quiet, entirely closed and without opposite, the pond of 3500m² allows to observe the carps basking in the sun, electricity and fishing are included with the reservation (see the rules for fishing further down in the ad)
The site is located 30 minutes from the medieval town of Dinan, a magnificent fortified city and less than 1 hour from the corsair city of Saint-Malo.
We know how complicated it has become to find calm and serenity in a conventional campsite, which is why we no longer frequent them. If you are looking for a place where you can find camping "as it was in the old days" you should be satisfied.
We are present every day except in very exceptional cases to welcome you, if you have any questions that we have not thought of in the announcement, do not hesitate to contact us :) .
The setting
In a closed and raised garden maintained by our care, the pond, the birds, our carps (Mirror / Kois / Common) of amenity and the ambient calm will know how to make you appreciate a good moment dépaysant, if you have the eye, you will be able to even observe red squirrels quite as discrete as curious.
A small stream also borders the pond for nights with the noise of the water runoff.
There are no big roads nearby or other surprises, we are surrounded by fields, the place is really soothing, sometimes tractors work the fields of course.
We also have goats in a pen next door (they don't have access to the pond in season), if you want to go and see them or feed them, ask us, we will be happy to introduce them to you.
There are sometimes (during the summer season) events at the nearby communal pond (about 150 meters) on Saturdays, although these events are regulated, it can create a nuisance.
The spots
We offer 4 pitches only to allow everyone to enjoy a nice space, each of the spots is around the pond, each pitch is on flat ground and has a spotlight/marker as well as an electrical outlet.
Access is easy through our orchard, you can help yourself to apples, hazelnuts, plums or pears if you wish depending on the season, as long as the location is respected.
The zones are spaced out and at different azimuths for the sunshine, it's up to you to make your choice when you arrive.
The sanitary facilities
You will find hot showers (independent) and dry toilets (independent) in a closed room out of sight, no time for the access to the sanitary, of course, the night, discretion is required.
An outside double sink (but under cover) is available for washing dishes and a sink is available inside for washing teeth, drying hair etc.
The amenities
There are electrical terminals at each site so that you can light up or charge your cell phones, but be careful, you can't plug in an electrical plate at the risk of cutting off the power to all the homecampers (which could be a good pretext to get to know them :) . (This could be a good excuse to get to know them :). Don't forget to bring a small extension cord)
The barbecue is self-service, a hard barbecue big enough but to be shared with everyone (see pictures), we often have some scrap wood that you can use to make the fire but if there is none you will have to bring charcoal :) . A garden table for 6 people is also available near the barbecue, make yourself comfortable.
The tour of the pond is marked out.
An independent refrigerator is installed in the orchard room, each home camper will be able to use it freely always in the respect of each one.
For the shopping, a small store is in the village, it helps you out, for the other conveniences, you will find everything you need in the village of Broons at 10 minutes of the site.
The activities
On the spot, especially rest and relaxation, if you want to walk, there is a starting point for 4 marked trails of several kilometers at 50m from us.
You are free to swim in the pond if you wish, with respect of course for the other homecampers.
If you wish to participate in the feeding of the carps, we will be happy to share this with you, attention, food other than that provided is strictly forbidden (risk of pollution).
The fishing in the pond is authorized to the gaulle (no throw) only, hook without barb of 18 maximum because the carps of agreement should not be fished, you will be able all the same to fish without limit, roaches, carassins and other perches, the pond is no-kill, any catch must be released.
If on the other hand you wish to fish for big fish, you are at 2 Minutes on foot from the Hérisson pond, very famous for the beautiful catches, we will inform you if necessary.
The medieval city of Dinan is 30 minutes away.
The Forest of Broceliande with its enchanted forests is 40 minutes away.
The corsair city of St-Malo is less than 1 hour away
Jugon les lacs, a small city of character bordered by a lake is also very nice to visit, it is 15 minutes away.
If you like old stones, the Breton countryside is magnificent.
Many other activities are possible in the surroundings, notably at the lake of Hardouinais (10 minutes drive) which proposes water sports in summer, this section will be filled as we get information on the available and interesting activities around Rouillac.
Other things
The parking for the home camping is away from the site (80meters see last picture) for a total tranquility of the travelers. We ask you to park well there, if you need a hand to unload at your arrival, do not hesitate to ask us.
