Description

Welcome to the Pays de Bray.
If you like simplicity or need to disconnect, then you will find the essentials here.
In a tent or in a van, you will stay with us in a quiet space dedicated to travelers.

One plot will only accommodate campers and another only vans.

The setting

You will have access to our sheepfold, which we have arranged to offer you a place to take your meals under cover, if the evenings are cool or the weather uncertain!

At your disposal a few dishes, a sink with a jerry can of drinking water, a refrigerator to share with the other travelers, as well as a stove and a kettle. Electricity in the sheepfold will allow you to recharge batteries, headlamps or phones...

To consult on the spot, some brochures on all that the Pays de Bray offers (visits, hikes, local markets...).

Outside you can enjoy a "campfire" corner in all prudence, you can admire the sunset in all quietness, but also make your grills !

Cyclists travelling through the Pays de Bray or the Paris-London, will also find a small emergency repair stand.

Our house is located nearby, so we will try to answer your requests.

The spots

The location is free on a dedicated space, one side of the tent and one side of the van.

The sanitary facilities

You will have access to dry toilets in a dedicated shed.
The shower is solar and installed near the sheepfold. The temperature of the water will depend on the sunshine! However we provide a stove if you need to gain a few degrees for the more chilly :)

The amenities

If you are missing something, don't hesitate to ask us.

The activities

Many walks or bike rides (greenway Paris-London), markets and many local producers in the vicinity with farm store or distributor 24/24h (cheese, yogurt, fruit & vegetables, cider ...).

Rules

The only rules to respect are to leave the place clean (watch out for cigarette butts! do the selective sorting) and to avoid making too much noise in the evening from 10:00 pm until 8:00 am the next day.

Arrival time is generally from 5:00 pm and departure time is generally 10:00 am.

  • Excellent hosts, very friendly and warm!
    I highly recommend the Bergerie.

  • Great stay with Vanessa and Nicolas! Thank you for your warm welcome and all your attentions! The sunset was magnificent! It's a lovely stopover on the greenway!

  • A very welcome break for two tired cyclists with a little tent in the sheepfold. And what a welcome from Vanessa and Nicolas!

The sheepfold is very well equipped with electricity, refrigerator and kitchen, plus table and shelter. Outside, there are chairs, a table and shade. There are ecological toilets and showers, and jerry cans of drinking water.

All in all, a lovely break and charming help from Vanessa and Nicholas - thanks again.

  • Super welcome!
I spent one night there and it was great!
Super quiet with the little barn converted it was royal!
    I recommend it :)

  • Our first experience was a revelation! A great stay that we remember with nostalgia! Thanks to Vanessa and her little attentions, it was a great pleasure to meet her and talk to her together! Thank you for this sweet moment preciously stored in the memory box!

  • Warm welcome, organization, cleanliness, layout and decoration of the sheepfold, everything is perfect.
5 stars address, to remember and to come back.

  • Ohlala! What a surprise to find this place!

Nicolas and Vanessa's welcome was really great. Just what I needed after a long day of cycling. The place is so nice and comfortable, so it was really relaxing for me!

    We recommend it!

  • Great little place! Lovely and quiet with friendly hosts. There is a big shed for you to use with a little kitchen and drinks to buy.

  • On my bike tour through Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and France I was also allowed to stay at Vanessa & Nicolas.
A fantastic place to enjoy the evening and the morning in peace! To my surprise, there was also a refrigerator with chilled drinks in a well-equipped kitchen, including homemade, very tasty cider.
The campsite was certainly one of the 2 highlights on my tour.
Thanks to Vanessa & Nicolas for this great place!

    Greetings
    Jörg

  • Very warm and attentive welcome from Vanessa and Nicolas. The ground has all the conveniences (tables, refrigerator...). We had a great time in this place. Thank you Vanessa and Nicolas ! We will come back with pleasure. Gilles and Henri.

  • Perfect stay in this small haven of peace.
Do not hesitate to contact us.

  • MUST stop at Vanessa and Nicolas' : the sheepfold is a peaceful place (great sleep), beautiful (especially at sunset) and ecologically responsible (solar shower, dry toilets). We were two itinerants with bikes and tents, the equipment of the sheepfold surpasses the traditional campsites and it is very tasteful. The availability and kindness of Vanessa and Nicolas complete this idyllic setting. Super discovery, thank you to you 2 !

  • A big thank you to Vanessa & Nicolas for their warm welcome, nothing better than a stop at the Bergerie to get back on the road ????. A nice meeting on my way to London.
