I offer a fully equipped bell tent with one double and two single beds.
You have towels and bed sheets provided, led bed lamps and fairy lights.
A private little terrace and you share an outdoor kitchen with fridge, gas plates and all cutlery etc provided.
A solar shower and a dry toilet- please bring only natural shampoo or use the natural toiletries I offer.
Wifi is available for free (if you like or need to be online).
The land is in walking distance to the big community of Tamera and another small community. There is a vivid alternative scene around here with flea markets, jam sessions, dance evenings, workshops and a wellness center in the nearby village (5km) offers yoga, zumba, massages and dance classes for kids.
The Santa Clara lake is 40km away, the beach as well.
There is a wonderful special restaurant, casa nirvana, run by the moji sangha, in 20min drive and a little cafe with organic coffee, bagels and croissants in the nearby village. Orange and Nespera trees offer fruits and tomatoe beds and beans can be harvested as well as the other veggies you find in the garden.
We have 4 kids, so sand pits, swing, climbing rope etc are to be found and shared. Please be aware that there are water retention basins, so please do not leave any non-swimmers unattended.

The setting

It is in a small village kind of neighbourhood, but hardly any traffic and quiet surrounding. In spring it is full of flowers, lush and green, in summer it resembles an african savannah with the green cork trees in midth of a dry grass landscape. You will hear the bells of the grazing sheep and an occassional mooohh. If you walk a couple of metres on the highest point of my land, you will have a lovely view over the Alentejo hills.

The spots

The bell tent has one double bed and 2 singles, there is a little cupboard to store some things and a night lamp on every bed.

The sanitary facilities

I have a dry toilet and a solar shower

The amenities

There is wifi if you like
All the kitchen equipment (pans, cutlery, plate, ...)and fridge is here as well as oil, salt and herbs (to be picked by you in front of the kitchen)
you can plug in the electricity or use it in the kitchen area

The activities

There are trails you can walk or bike and community open days or courses and workshops that can be visited in the surrounding area. Flea markets, dance, yoga, singing events can be attended in the area.

Please be very aware with fire and note that fire is strictly prohibited until december and from april onwards. If you are a smoker, please be very aware to not put your life and those of a whole neighbourhood in danger by not properly putting off your cigarette. Children are very welcome, and please be attentive with the water, it is not deep, but not fenced. The access is not possible for a caravan over 6.50m, because the road 400m before the entry takes a narrow turn.

  • This place is wonderful, Sarah is a very good host and the bell tent is fabulous. It’s also an alternative area where people live in an organic and original way, the sky at night is powerful. the heat in this region is intense…
It was a great experience would like to come back when a bit more cool weather. Perfect
