Description

For those who want to spend vacations in full relaxation , freedom and in contact with nature, immersed in the wonderful landscape of Tuscany , taking advantage of outdoor sports such as cycling, hiking, golf or to visit cities of art such as Florence, Pisa and Pistoia , Lucca without forgetting Vinci, the birthplace of the great genius where you can also visit the Museo Leonardiano and the Castle of Count Guidi.

The setting

We provide a spacious and well-maintained garden with private and independent access equipped with a large parking area useful for maneuvering with large minivans and cars . It is accessed by a wide ramp uphill, after opening a gate, on land detached from the houses and is illuminated by a spotlight that is accessed at the passage . From the post you can admire the beautiful relaxing view of the Tuscan countryside characterized by expanses of olive groves and vineyards and walk along the paths traced on Montalbano . Guests are guaranteed maximum security and privacy for the location of tents and parked vehicles, in the total absence of traffic noise, immersed in the vegetation of the olive grove .

The spots

The free-choice sites for campers are partly level and shaded , easily accessible .RVs and minivans can be conveniently parked as there are no height and width limits in the large space provided , very useful for maneuvering . For added security
a gate has recently been installed at the entrance to the garden that can be locked by guests during the night hours

The sanitary facilities

outdoor toilets are indoors in a reserved area with an outdoor hot-water shower enclosed by a changing room, another cold-water shower, toilet with turk and sink equipped with toiletries and toilet paper.

The equipment provided are :
-4 taps of running drinking water, very large rectangular table for 30 seats ,
with benches under wooden canopy equipped with lighting, 6-seater oval garden table equipped with no.8 chairs, stove and sink , refrigerator , barbecure, free wifi, washhouse and large clothesline for cloths with clothespins , outdoor gymnastic equipped area, round outboard swimming pool with outdoor hot/cold water shower and changing room, outdoor electrical connection with possibility of supplying extension cord for charging cell phones or using small kitchen appliances.
For a small extra payment it is possible to request :
gas cylinders , electric stove , electric fan , electric mosquito net , electric hotplate , large cooking stove , cookware for 2 - 10 people , omelet pan , toaster , electric juicer , kettle , mocha coffee maker , American coffee maker , synthetic ice with portable refrigerator , 10-liter water dispenser , blankets, extra toilet paper, camping stove, flashlight, sleeping bag.
Finally, children and teens can bathe in the pool( equipped with a ladder to enter the water , constantly cleaned and monitored for pH )and use the shower to be able to wash their feet ...In addition, a play area has been set up with a swing, rings and climbing ladder, rope to do gymnastic exercises in the open air.

In the surroundings you can visit : - LEONARDIAN MUSEUM , LEONARDO'S CHRISTMAS HOUSE in Anchiano , Monsummano Spa , Pisa , Pistoia and Florence , Cerreto guidi and San Miniato .
For those who practice sports you can book the golf course in Bellosguardo , the municipal swimming pool in Empoli and Larciano , or reach the top up to San Baronto by bicycle or trekking . Also at farmhouses in the area you can taste excellent biodynamic wines, enjoy locally produced cheeses or grilled meats or alternatively go shopping in Montecatini Terme or Empoli.

Possibility to purchase organic seasonal vegetables and legumes of our own production directly from our farm.
Free tasting of various qualities of organic and healthy extra virgin olive oil.

Rules

No pets and no smokers or nudists allowed .

Absolute prohibition of lighting bonfires in the grounds and prohibition of abandoning garbage ( special marked bags will be provided for the separate collection of garbage in accordance with the municipal regulations, which the owners will dispose of on a daily basis. )

Respect for the rules of civil coexistence for which will not be allowed :

Nighttime cackling , mistreatment of animals and plants .

Any damage to equipment , pool and facilities will have to be compensated .

For the emptying of sewage , the appropriate equipped area in the village of Vinci is indicated .

Young children must be under parental supervision .

  • Excellent stay with Paola and her family! The view over the olive groves is magnificent. There's a large area just for us: fully equipped kitchen, swimming pool, Turkish-style showers and toilets. Paola and her family invited us to share a meal with them. Excellent! They're very friendly and offer produce from their fields.
    The Leonardo di Vinci museum is right next door.
    We highly recommend this stopover!
