Shaded area under cedars and secured, located in the green belt of Avignon in an agricultural environment.
At 12 minutes from the tramway which serves the city center of Avignon ten minutes later.
The space borders the vegetable garden. The henhouse is located away from the garden (no rooster!).
Possibility to taste the fruits and/or vegetables of the season in the garden.
In good season, the neighbor organizes an organic vegetable market on Tuesdays.

The setting

Permanent shade near a small bamboo grove, quiet.

The spots

I limit the parking (on flat ground) to four vehicles, so my guests can enjoy their stay in peace. The site is located about 70m from my house. Up to now, all motorhomes that are not oversized have been able to park without difficulty.

The sanitary facilities

The site has no sanitary facilities.

The amenities

A Wifi connection is available for guests. I provide an extension cord for the electricity, the charge of the portable devices can be done without difficulty.
Water is provided by a hose with a tap that can reach every vehicle parked on its spot.
On occasion I can lend kitchen equipment (and also a barbecue which must be used in a secure area because of the fire hazard). I can help out with basic products (salt, sugar, butter, bread...) and possibly take shopping orders while my guests are on vacation.

The activities

The visit of Avignon, cultural city, capital of the Côtes du Rhône, rich of its historical past, of the Vaucluse, the Gard and the Bouches du Rhône will be facilitated by the supply of documentations.
In 2023, the Avignon Festival, a worldwide theater festival, will take place from July 5 to 25 in 2022 for the In and from July 7 to 29 for the Off.

Other things

Extreme vigilance is required on the part of guests regarding the risk of fires, which are becoming more frequent in the region due to the drought.

No smoking area.
No fires allowed.
Small pets allowed.
Quiet after 11pm.
Once installed the comings and goings are possible at all hours of the day and the night by respecting the peace of the possible neighbors. For this purpose, a remote control of the gate can be obtained against a deposit of 30€.
The selective sorting of garbage will be encouraged by the provision of three differentiated garbage cans and a composter.

Land & setting
  • Very good reception, good information.

  • The place is really secure... I really appreciated Jean Claude's welcome, to guide me in and out... The welcome refreshment was also very appreciated... And it's quiet... Thank you...

  • Very good reception Jean-Claude is a nice person, quiet and shady location.

  • We thank Jean-Claude infinitely for his kindness, his advice to visit Avignon and the surroundings, his availability and also for his nice welcome accompanied by a drink and his delicious figs ♥️ The place to park is perfect, with our camping car we were in the shade from morning to evening and that's rather very appreciable. You can go there with your eyes closed, we recommend +++

  • Good communication with Jean Claude who advised us about shows and reserved a welcome drink.
Jean Claude's pitches are well located, 15 minutes by bike from the center of Avignon. Water jet very practical. The only drawback : a lot of mosquitoes, probably due to the hot weather!

  • Excellent welcome. Fresh drink appreciated on arrival! Quiet in the green zone of Avignon after a day at the festival. I hope Jean-Claude will save a place for me next year!
