The setting

Plot of land in a rural setting, surrounded by greenery and next to a wood.

Accessible via the Voie Communale: a "ribin" or dirt track with little traffic, natural light.

The land is planted with trees on the east and north sides.

It's only a kilometer from the plot to the Kerarmel palud, with its magnificent view over the Bay of Morlaix. So it's just a short walk along a little road with very little traffic.

The spots

The pitches are spacious and free to choose from, and the site is easy to access, just a hundred meters from the tourist road leading to Plougasnou by the coast.

The sanitary facilities

WC in the house and dry toilets in the grounds.

The house, where I live, is located in the next plot. A bathtub with shower is available.

There's also a shower cubicle in the grounds, with a spray shower and showerhead, which is refreshing in summer. You can of course use your solar shower bag if you have one.

The amenities

Picnic table

Electricity: outdoor plug and extension cord

Water: external drinking water supply via independent outside tap and hose

Waste management: there are two collection bins (including one for recyclables) at the end of the road.

Washing-up area, sink with water supplied in jerrycan

Compost bin

Campers manage their own waste.

The activities

Barbecues are tolerated if reasonable and quiet. No big parties.

Morlaix is 11 km away, with its viaduct, Pondalez houses, Saturday market, Jacobin museum, Sew (cinema, gallery, concert hall), tobacco factory...

The circuit of parish enclosures, the Monts d'Arrée and the Kreiz Breizh are less than half an hour's drive away.

A choice of nearby beaches:
Kerarmel one km away, accessible on foot,
Terenez
Ti Louzou...
...

Cautious and responsible fishing at Kerarmel

Within a 2 km radius: food, cafe, oyster and seafood retail, restaurants, ironwork and pottery workshop, art exhibitions

Farm market all year round on Friday evenings, 5' by car, 15' on foot along the narrow lanes. Events, exhibitions and concerts in summer. Refreshments provided by local microbreweries.

Opposite on the other bank, accessible via Morlaix: le Leon (Carantec and its Callot island, Santec and Sieck island, Roscoff, Saint-Pol, Batz island...).

Tregor or Léon, regular festoù noz in the surrounding area, sometimes with dance workshops open to all.

In the immediate vicinity, Plouezoc'h, Plougasnou: diving, fishing, sea swimming, sailing, kayaking...

GR34 one km away, PR hiking and biking trails nearby

I'll be happy to keep you informed of local events. Don't hesitate to ask for information.

Other things

  • We've just spent a week with our host Franck, a really friendly person who will surely tell you all about his beloved Brittany. We weren't disappointed with our spacious, peaceful accommodation, not far from the charming village of Plouezoc'h . Thank you Franck for your welcome.Angélique et Bisous et merci à Annick notre voisin de campement,au plaisir de se revoir.

  • Franck will welcome you with kindness and simplicity to his well-placed plot not far from the Barnenez cairn. If you want to go further than the average tourist, he's also the ideal person for his erudition: Breton language and culture hold no secrets for him.

  • Franck made us feel very well taken care of. For people who love the quiet, this is a perfect place. Plenty of space and 20 minutes leisurely walk to the bay of Morlaix and the beautiful hiking trail to Pointe de Barnenez.

Franck is very friendly and helpful. Everything is lovingly prepared for nature campers. The outdoor shower is fantastic. But if you like, you may also shower in the house.

All in all - a wonderful place to relax.

  • A very warm welcome. But it's a shame that the infrastructure on site (shower and dry toilet) is not up to scratch and more than rudimentary. Fortunately, access to our host's bathroom was possible.

  • We stopped at Franck's for one night during our road trip, and it was very pleasant!
Facilities like shower, toilet, electricity and washing-up area are really practical.
    The area is very quiet!
    I'd recommend

  • Franck made us feel very welcome. We were able to use the bathroom in the house, which is easily accessible. Thanks also for his sound advice!

  • Thanks to Franck for this short stay.
It's a shame the weather wasn't on our side.

  • Although Franck wasn't there in person, we were able to communicate easily and the person who welcomed me was very friendly. The grounds are very pleasant and quiet, and the services offered are very comprehensive for a modest fee. Thank you very much! A small sign or more precise directions for easier finding would be a small "plus" when the internet network works in dotted lines.

  • Franck was not on site, but had organized everything perfectly. A great place where we enjoyed spending 2 quiet days. Thanks to Franck for sharing this place with others so generously????
    Happy greetings, Katrin and Klaus

  • Simple place with everything you need. Franck was accommodating about the shower given the cool summer weather.

  • We spent a night at Franck's, he's a nice person and a pleasant place to stay.

  • Great place, great welcome. Thanks for everything, we felt great!

The place is really quiet. Thanks to Franck for his friendliness, exchanges and open-mindedness.

  • Simple, quiet location. Franck is very accommodating!

  • A lovely, quiet plot, where you can sit in the sun or the shade. With everything you need: dry toilets, a dishwasher with rainwater and access to drinking water. I really fell in love with the Bay of Morlaix. Last but not least, Frank is a charming, open-minded host who loves his region and Brittany. Thank you Frank for these exchanges and I hope to see you another time.

  • Great welcome, great chat with Franck and his explanations about Brittany!

  • Thank you for the warm welcome! All the best , Frank!

  • My stay was short but enough to appreciate the kindness of Franck, who did everything possible to find me a place.

  • An excellent stay with Frank, a Breton expert of his region who shares his knowledge
    the campsite of our childhood
a little hello to jeronimo the curious kitten.

  • Very good reception, the location is really quiet. We had a great time. Frank has a very cute little cat that my son played with a lot.

  • Thank you for your warm welcome Franck. It was very nice to meet you and to exchange with simplicity. I spent a pleasant moment to discover your corner of Brittany. See you next time maybe!

  • Super stay at Franck's in this superb place of Brittany!
Allows to visit this coast less touristy but more authentic and with breathtaking landscapes! The welcome and the kindness of Franck made us spend really nice moments. I highly recommend it and I will return to Franck's place with pleasure as soon as possible.

  • Very well received and very pleasant place, thank you again for your welcome.

  • Franck is very friendly and his land is very pleasant in a corner of Brittany that deserves a visit.

  • Green setting, beautiful meetings. For your two eyes, not far from beautiful places. For your two feet, sometimes a fest-noz where you can dance.
Good unexpected memories, we will certainly come back.
In the peace, with what it is necessary to be ressourcer and to benefit from a frankly pleasant moment!

    See you again, and ...
Thank you for your welcome Franck!
