Description

Come and recharge your batteries 20 minutes from the ocean, direct access to the cycle track, a few minutes walk or bike ride from all amenities, against the forest, with all the comforts for 4 people, on private and fenced land accessible by code gate.

The only bungalow on a 5000 m2 fully fenced plot of land, in a home camp for up to 20 people, has its own private space in a part of the land that is entirely dedicated to it.
It has electricity and water outside the (email hidden)Some facilities such as washing up facilities and showers are shared with other campers.

The campsite does not accept animals and children over 9 years old to offer calm.

The setting

In a very beautiful Landes airial, the bungalow is in the quiet, against the forest, in the shade almost all day long.
There are a few chickens and squirrels on the ground because there are many hazel trees.
Pontenx les Forges is a charming village with all amenities and the access by a beautiful path in the forest is directly from the land, to reach the village or the sports center and the bike path, 10 minutes on foot.
I will advise you if you do not know the region, whether it is about beaches, culture, restaurants ...

The spots

The bungalow can be closed with a padlock provided.
It is separated in 4 parts :
two bedrooms: master bedroom (1 recent bed 160x200) with storage and closet
Bedroom 2: two single beds with very comfortable bedding with storage and closet
A kitchen equipped with all the cooking equipment (pots and pans, gas stove and fridge), coffee maker and kettle.
A living room with sofa, storage space and coffee table
A covered 10 m2 awning equipped with an outside light and garden furniture

The sanitary facilities

The dry toilets are private (not shared with other campers) and very clean.
The campsite is equipped with dry toilets for the gentlemen, and the occupants of the canvas bungalow can use them (I manage the toilets)

There are 3 showers, shared with other people. Hot water is at your disposal, you help yourself to the jerry cans that I put at your disposal and you fill a tray in the shower. You shower with this water.

24/24 access to the sanitary facilities and to the property, in a quiet environment.

The amenities

The bungalow has light and plugs.
Storage shed, clothesline, some games for children, barbecue except in hot weather.
All dishes are provided.

The activities

20 mn by car or 1h by bike : you have the beach of Mimizan : surfing, bodyboard.
40 mn by car from the Marquèze ecomuseum, the Pyla dune.
half way between Bordeaux and Biarritz.
1h15 from the Spanish border.
Theaters and cinemas in Mimizan and Biscarrosse.
Games for children at the sports center at 10 mn by foot through the forest.

Other things

JULY AND AUGUST ARE RENTED ONLY BY THE WEEK, FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY:
For a maximum of 4 people:
Add 100 euros per week between July 8 and August 26, 2023 to the indicated rate.
Renting 2 nights minimum possible outside these dates.
The tourist tax is applicable to all persons:
1 euro/person/night to be paid on arrival in cash.
Discount for rentals longer than 10 days.
Personalized price for one month and more.

A real return to basics for quiet or hard-working people or families, while enjoying real comfort.

Rules

Animals are not accepted. Even if they are small, nice ones...
For the dry toilets : I show you where and how to empty them. You manage your own toilets but be reassured, they don't give off any smell and it's very easy and fast.
I provide you with untreated wood chips.
You are asked to come with unscented and uncolored toilet paper, and with ecological washing up liquid.

Electricity is limited to light, music and charging of laptops or computers.
But it is not possible to use a hair dryer or an iron for example, equipment that uses too much energy.

No vehicles are parked near the tents or the bungalow (glamping) but they are parked at the entrance of the property.
The respect of the campers and the place is the basic rule.
Arrival times (on the 1st day, for the reception: generally between 5pm (depending on your needs and my availability) and 8pm at the latest).
Departure time: 10am - you are responsible for the cleaning but I provide the products.
Late arrivals are not possible.
Two deposit checks are required upon arrival (cleaning and damage) and will be returned one week after the end of the stay.
Smokers are allowed, with precautions of course.

For any reservation request, please provide me with the number of persons and the age of the children if there are any.
