Description

Campsite in a huge property in the countryside, close to rivers. Near Forcalquier.

The setting

Home from home. In a very large garden planted with trees. No visual or noise pollution. Close to rivers. In Dauphin, a typical Provencal village. 10 minutes by car from Forcalquier, a charming little town with markets, cafés, cinema and concert hall. 1 hour from the summit of the Lure mountain.

The spots

The plot is flat and directly accessible. There's plenty of shade.
There is a cabin on the site, which is entirely at the campers' disposal (and to be shared between campers). It has a washbasin, a fully equipped kitchen and electrical outlets.

The sanitary facilities

The toilets are dry toilets.

Showers are provided in shower cubicles. Water comes either from a garden hose, or from solar-powered showers that provide hot water, but it's up to the campers to fill the water bags and put them in the sun.

The amenities

In the kitchen, campers have access to a gas stove with oven, all necessary crockery, coffee machines, fridges and pantries, kettle, toaster...
Electrical outlets are available in the cabana.
From the campsite, we don't get wifi from the house, but the connection is generally good with 4G.
Also available:
- tables and chairs
- barbecues
- games for adults (and older children): molki, pétanque balls, slakeline
- children's play equipment: swing and other play equipment
And it's also possible to stroll around the garden and see the hens and donkeys:)

The activities

The immediate surroundings are ideal for exploring the flora and fauna, discovering the village of Dauphin, walking, cycling, refreshing in the rivers and lazing around.
If you're taking the car (or bike), there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area: check out the Forcalquier tourist office or the Mane tourist office.

Other things

Two female dogs live in the house. They will certainly come to see you. Both are very friendly (although one barks) and not at all dangerous.

Rules

- Respect for people: no excessive noise after 10pm, keep shared areas clean
- Respect for animals: don't feed them (it's bad for them) or use any form of violence.
- Respect for trees (don't climb them) and plants (don't pick them)
- Respect the work of your hostess: sort the garbage cans, don't throw garbage in the garden, don't change the layout or go through the fences...

  • Super setting! Great welcome! Great memories! We'll be back with pleasure.

  • Great stay, but too short! Little water in the river "le Largue", but a little all the same. Great spot to visit Forcalquier, Mane and Dauphin. And above all Banon and its great Le Bleuet bookshop. Nice breakfast with fresh bread and eggs. Good address: les "Favouilles".... Thank you Pamela.

  • Pamela and her partner are very warm and welcoming. The place is super green with donkeys, chickens and further on a river, a little paradise. Their projects are the stuff of dreams, and I'd definitely go back! We went there to observe the stars at Saint Michel l'observatoire, which is not far away for those wishing to go there.
Thanks again for a wonderful night ????

  • Pamela's grounds are perfect for nature lovers. It's very quiet and has everything you need to stay.
Pamela and her boyfriend are very friendly and communication was optimal!

  • 2nd stay in tents in this magical place, ideally located for walks in the forest near rivers or nearby villages like Forcalquier.
Pamela's welcome is a pleasure and I recommend her breakfast.
The facilities are constantly evolving, and many changes have been made in the space of a few months.
There's everything for children to enjoy and discover (I stayed there with 8-year-old twins).

  • Paméla and Christian gave us a warm welcome. The place is very well equipped and very quiet. Plenty of villages and beautiful walks to discover! A very nice place, thank you again for opening your domain with a smile and generosity.

  • A wonderful place in an extraordinary region! With a perfect welcome, thank you Paméla! My three youngest children and I were able to take advantage of the many possibilities nearby (the Observatoire de Provence and its many daytime and night-time activities, the prehistory museum, Reillanne, Forcalquier, Manosque and of course the magnificent Salagon gardens in Mane!) And a place to rest. It was perfect! We'll be back!

  • Very good reception and peaceful setting.

  • Excellent welcome, Pamela is attentive and listening.
The grounds are perfect and soothing.
I also recommend the breakfast :)
    Thank you Pamela

  • Pamela is benevolence incarnate, always joyful and her welcome is very warm. The setting is perfectly quiet, natural, respectful and welcoming. Perfect to recharge your batteries and conducive to introspection. I recommend it without any worries. Thank you Pamela!

  • Pamela is a very nice and welcoming person! The place is quite large, equipped with a small kitchen and a dry toilet. A peaceful place where you can stop for a little moment of calm.

  • We spent a great stay at Pamela's who is a great kindness the place is superb for camping you can go there with your eyes closed

  • Very well, thank you Pamela.

  • Nice weekend on Pamela's piece of land, shaded for the tent and all the necessities for the kitchen, the toilet and the poop.

    Thanks Pamela

  • As a cyclist on the Mediterranean cycle route, you couldn't ask for anything better: it's right next to the cycle path, the land is vast, shady and flat, the setting is beautiful and quiet and Pamela's welcome is very friendly. I bathed like the dogs on the picture in the nearby river. The small kitchen is very practical to cook on the spot. I forgot the sky full of stars.
