Welcome to our old farmhouse in the village of Biesmerée!
We look forward to welcoming you!

The setting

La Ferme is an old farm at the end of the village, surrounded by other fields.
You'll be surrounded by many animals: Jojo&Ginette, the Vietnamese pigs; Pepito&Louadane, the horse couple; Marcelino&Sissi, the pony couple; Bigoudi the sheep and the hens who bring you fresh eggs in the morning.
For over 20 years, we've been trying to improve biodiversity by planting numerous species of plants, which you can discover as you stroll through the grounds. An edible forest of over 200 species is growing.

The spots

The accommodation on offer is a Sahara-style tipi, ideal for couples or families with young children. An extra mattress is provided for children.
Parents with larger children can bring a tent to place next to the tipi.

Electricity is available in the tipi.
For those who want to eat in, a bbq is available. Take your coal.

The activities

Once there, I'll provide you with a list of walks available from the campsite to discover the region and its surroundings. There's something for everyone (from 2 to 11 km in length).
When ponies are available, a brush kit is on hand to take care of the horses.

Rules

We ask you to respect the site, keep it clean and be kind to the animals around you.
Smokers are welcome, with one golden rule: no cigarette butts in nature.

  • Superb stay in a tipi!
    I had already come to camp in a van at Sébastien's place and it was a pleasure to come back to discover the tipi they had installed since.

    Well installed with a view on the countryside, in the shade of an apple tree, we spent a pleasant evening in the company of Louadane and the pigs (there is a newcomer in the group!).

    A very comfortable night in this spacious and well equipped tent. If I can give an advice it is to add some extra cushions.

    Julien and Yves (the inseparable chicks) came to greet us early in the morning. The breakfast served by the mother is really to be recommended: local products, copious and nicely presented!

    In short, a big thank you to Sébastien and his family for the welcome, we will not miss to come back :)
