  • Beautiful valley. Very spacious grounds. We had the chance to visit the mill and talk at length with Joseph, the owner.
We look forward to returning for the setting and the energy that emanates from it, but also to share with Joseph this great self-taught man who is such a good person.

  • we spent an idyllic time in a magnificent place where we found what we were looking for: peace and quiet, close to nature. The welcome was warm and the contact with Joseph very enriching. He's a very resourceful person. A wonderful experience from every point of view.

  • The welcome and the grounds were perfect! However, we wanted to be more "isolated" from our various neighbors. The atmosphere is charming, the setting bucolic. The riverside was really fun for the kids. We loved the comfort of the place, but we were looking for peace and quiet, and unfortunately the group of 15 people next to us weren't looking for the same peace and quiet :)

  • A magical place in the middle of nowhere: a magnificent meadow between the hills. Lulled by the sound of the river, the neighing of the horses and the calm of the place, we slept in tents on the roof of a pick-up truck (thanks Yeti Wild Tracks). An unforgettable experience. Thank you Frédéric for your welcome, your simplicity and our pleasant exchanges.

  • Joseph's little corner of paradise was a wonderful discovery! Waking up to the sound of birds and the river, I enjoyed reconnecting with nature.
Thank you for your warm welcome, I'll be back for sure!

  • Great place, very friendly owner who showed me around the restoration of the mill. It's an ideal place in the middle of nature, by the water, to disconnect and enjoy nature. I'll be back

  • Despite the little hiccup on arrival, we had a very pleasant 3 nights/4 days. The place is magical and timeless. We'll be back with pleasure!

  • Hello

We had a great time on your property. The place is superb and quiet. Good welcome from Robert. Hope to see you soon.

  • A beautiful spot along the Hermetton, just as wild as we wanted it to be.
Despite the inclement weather, we made the most of this beautiful spot away from it all.
Joseph welcomed us very well and let us choose the best place for us and our 2 doggies :)

  • the grounds are just magnificent! nature and peace ⛺️

  • Looking for total disconnection?
By the river, almost alone in the world...
    A perfect welcome!

  • What a wonderfully quiet and enchanted place with mill, stream and large meadow. Joseph is a caring host and is happy to give a tour of the mill.

  • We had a great time on Joseph's field! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

  • No definition to describe this haven of peace...

    Welcome communication perfect magical environment.

We felt so comfortable in this setting that we stayed 2 nights.

Visits to the Moulin des Gorges 500m away, just behind the horse paddock.

Highly recommended. With eyes closed. To recharge your batteries.

Joseph Robert and Madame 3 charming people. With perfect communication, in love with their mills, their haven of peace.

Joseph gave us a tour of his mill.

A must-see, charming building, simple explanations.

We'll be seeing Joseph Robert and Madame again.

    Sincerely Anne-Cé and Grégoire

  • Joseph welcomed us as soon as we arrived and showed us around so that we could find what we were looking for to spend a quiet night.

Thanks again for the warm welcome!

  • When life offers you the chance to share an exceptional place, everything becomes perfect. Thank you Joseph for opening this beautiful 100% natural property. A unique paradise, the beginning of a wild valley. We feel like we're at the end of the world, and like a family when we talk about the place, dreams and achievements. Thanks again to both of you for your welcome and for sharing your time with us. We had some wonderful bike rides there, and we'll be back for the ones on foot, so I hope to see you soon. And good luck until then. Fred and Agathe

  • A magnificent, wild place, absolute calm, my little stay was idyllic.
A beautiful place for those who love and respect nature.
I was lucky enough to meet Joseph and discover the mill.
    Joseph is very welcoming!
I thank him for sharing this place with me.

  • Very nice and quiet place, very good to recharge your batteries and connect with nature, thank you for sharing this place and allowing this suspended moment ❤️

  • Booked last minute. We were looking for a quiet waterfront location. And we found it. Not a sound except nature. What a beautiful spacious place (if you don't like wilderness not ideal). At first a little stressed by the narrow path, but calmly it passed. (Cc of 7m/2m30) We could set up wherever we wanted. On the banks of the Hermeton where baby dog could play, and we admired the local wildlife (there was a beaver) ????. There's a hiking trail right behind it. We got baby dog used to the horses. We didn't meet Monsieur Joseph as we were far away on his land, we didn't want to bother the tents and horses with the baby dog, but we had pleasant telephone contacts. Thank you for sharing such a place with us. We'll be back again.

  • Very nice stay along the river. The place is quiet and restful. Joseph welcomed us very kindly! Many thanks for this stay!

  • Very nice place. Friendly owner. Stay in paradise, walks, nature, bbq.... To be repeated and recommended!

  • Great experience at the mill. Very nice place, very pleasant. Because it's so big, it's easy to find a place if you like solitude even if there are other people on the grounds. Joseph is a very friendly host. Thanks to him for the visit to the old mill. A building steeped in history. I'll be back again.

  • Perfect, like last time, thank you!

  • Beautiful place in the middle of nature! We were there for a night in a van and tent on the roof with small children and enjoyed the meadow provided. The kindness of the hosts is obviously a plus to make the experience perfect! Also ideal for hiking in the area.

  • Joseph was very helpful in finding his mill and was very available by phone. He even offered us to sleep inside his mill. And even better the next day, he offered us breakfast. Very nice welcome!

  • We spent a night on Joseph's land. The setting is great! Super quiet meadow on the edge of the river. Possibility to make a small fire with a lot of wood available in the surroundings.

  • Pleasant stay in a quiet and green place along the Hermeton. Joseph was very welcoming. Thank you :)
