Description

Located at the very top of the Super Besse ski resort.
You'll have access to the site via a carriage road and be at the start of hiking trails. (Puy de Sancy, Puy de Chambourguet, Vallée de Chaudefour, Lac Pavin...)

An extension cord will be provided (10A max) and electricity is included.
There are no toilets at the moment (they're planned), but the resort does have free access to them (as do the showers). So please use your own toilets (dry or chemical) or those of the resort, and don't do anything in the area, as the next ones won't appreciate it...

In the resort center (800m), there's plenty of water to fill up and waste water to empty.

You'll benefit from the residence's services, bread service (in season), convenience store, equipment rental, sauna with shower (5€ / h), bowling green...

The setting

At the very top of the resort, on the edge of a hiking trail with views of the mountains (puy du chambourguet, puy du paillaret, puy de la perdrix, puy ferrand... but also the Monts du Cantal).
Quiet but with little vegetation on the pitch (it has just been landscaped).
In winter, the pitch is not possible as it is in the middle of a piste.

The spots

Flat terrain, accessible via a carriage road. Half-turn possible for most vehicles (easily done with an L2).

1 vehicle recommended, more will be more complicated but feasible.

The sanitary facilities

WC and showers available in resort center (800m)
A shower is also available in the sauna (5€ / hour)

  • Very helpful and friendly owner. Because he owns the rental apartments around, he offers all the services that go with it: bread, washing machine, relaxation area, tourist information, ... very nice view on the resort and its surroundings. Only downside in my eyes, the location is in rocks and in full sun, difficult to install the table and chairs. Maybe some modifications will be planned ????
