Description

Imagine... waking up to birdsong, meeting wild animals (deer, rabbits, pheasants, birds of prey...), being lulled by the calm and the breathtaking view... Welcome to Tournehem-sur-la-Hem !

The setting

Our house is located on the top of a hill offering a 360 degree panorama that you can't get enough of. The forest (wood of the park) is 50m from our land, the meetings with the wild fauna are thus frequent. The place is calm, peaceful. The space dedicated to your reception is oriented full south, in the shade of a tree. There is only our house in our street, the neighbors are located a few meters below.
By April 2023, we will provide you with a shower room, a toilet, washing machine and dryer for your comfort.

The spots

The site has just been fitted out to receive our friends from Lille who are fans of van and bicycle touring. It was designed for them at their request. The ground is flat. The reception of caravans does not seem possible because the maneuver would be too complex to be able to leave.

The sanitary facilities

For the moment, only cold water access is possible

The amenities

Electricity is provided as well as a barbecue. Internet access is possible by moving closer to our home (a few meters)
Playground for children

The activities

The place is the starting point of numerous pedestrian or cyclo excursions. In the heart of the park of the marshes of the Audomarois, you have the choice between the forest and the beach... The possible activities are varied but the essential of the place is to enjoy the view

Other things

A menu of simple barbecued food or aperitif board as well as drinks on the spot are being drafted (all provided by local providers)

Rules

Access is possible at any time of the day or night.
The space is non-smoking
Parties are forbidden in order to respect the neighborhood
Children have access to the playground under adult supervision
Please note that the area is not entirely fenced for the moment, the access to the forest is immediate (in case your children are as intrepid as ours)
