Our small, shaded family lot borders a bicycle path and can accommodate you for a one or more night stopover.

Whether on foot, by bike or by car, you will appreciate the proximity of the amenities of the capital of Oléronaise, the supervised beaches, the wild creeks, or even stroll around the main fishing port of the island ... unless you prefer to sit quietly under our majestic oaks!
The land is entirely enclosed and out of sight.

The setting

-Ideally located between LA COTINIERE (2 kms) and ST PIERRE D'OLERON (900m), our land is isolated from any close neighborhood.

-It is housed in a small wood maintained and cleared, and separated from the road (passing) by a bicycle path.

-The bottom of the land overlooks fields of crops and vines and the sides are bordered by unoccupied private land.

-You will have easy access to a multitude of services: the nearest restaurant is 900m away as well as bicycle and rosalie rental, the town center is 1.2 kms away, the market and the supermarkets 1.5 kms away, local producers 10 minutes away on foot.

The spots

-To guarantee space to our visitors, we only accept 2 vehicles at the same time (vans, converted trucks and profiles) with a maximum of 8 people.

-Flat and easy to access but you have to cross the bicycle path (very busy in July and August): no worries, cyclists and pedestrians are nice.

-Location in the shade, half-shade

The sanitary facilities

-Dry toilets (not yet available for our campers)

The amenities

-Private parking
-Electricity by external plug (bring an extension cord)
-No WIFI but the network goes through well
-Terrace at disposal
-Cold water pump (not drinkable)
-Barbecue (not allowed in summer)

-Cabin and small caravan reserved for our personal use.
-ATTENTION: Emptying impossible on the site (service point at 700m)

The activities

-Supervised beach (4.2 kms)
-Helicopter baptism (3 kms)
-Departure of cruises (3 kms)
-Hiking and cycling tours
-Cultural and tourist visits

Other things

-Once the vehicle is in place, everything can be done on foot or, better still, by bicycle

-Possibility of noise pollution due to road traffic in summer.

Person of confidence on the spot for reception and handing-over of the keys OR installation in all autonomy.

Our LITTLE 4-legged friends are welcome as long as their owner takes care to respect the premises.

-No crazy party but possibility to have a nice evening with reasonable music volume

-No fire, no cigarette butts, no barbecue.

-Waste disposal in the bins at 1km

-Animals and children are under the total responsibility of their parents and masters.

We just ask that everyone acts in respect of each other and that the places are respected.

Land & setting
  • It is a perfect pied a terre to visit the island of oléron. The directions to find the land were perfectly clear.
Daniel and Florence were always available to answer my questions.
    I recommend them.

  • Hello, first of all, a big thank you for the kindness and all the practical and necessary information to visit the island. Very pleasant place, great for those who are autonomous. Possibility to have electricity and dry toilets, ideal for our van, especially in winter. Very pleasant host and especially very respectful of nature, what we are looking for. Explanation of the place very precise. Wooded and shaded grounds. We are very pleased with this little weekend and we will return with pleasure in summer to see this beautiful landscape in another way. Thank you again for your welcome and your patience. We recommend these extremely kind hosts... Sandrine and Michael.

  • We were there for 3 days the host was very quick to respond to any questions and had a welcome from a family member on arrival the overall experience was excellent the port was great for seafood, cycling routes were good a bit of road noise during the day but we were out a lot so did not worry us would definitely use again when we are next in the area

  • Florence was extremely reactive and friendly, to welcome us quickly. A big thank you.
Closed site with small terrace and lots of trees. But close to the road.
