Description

As a nature lover, I would like to welcome you to my R in Camp-agne.
Back to basics in a natural environment, lulled by birdsong, where you can take your time and share convivial moments around the barbecue, outdoor games or by the stove with a board game or a good book.
I also invite you to get to know the Poulettes and the organic vegetable garden.
Our aim is to make this a meeting place for nature-loving campers.

The setting

Not overlooked, the land is bordered by organic fields and horses.
Campers can get to know the chickens.
Ideal for hiking and biking enthusiasts, Saint Vaast is at the crossroads of hiking trails and shared bike paths.
Managing our resources is part of our philosophy.
Most of the materials we use are salvaged and second-hand.

The spots

Open pitches on flat ground bordered by hedges.
Car parking a few meters from the campsite.
A covered area with an outdoor kitchen protected from bad weather.

The sanitary facilities

To respect the site's natural environment, the showers are exclusively solar-powered, and the outdoor kitchen is equipped with a sink powered by drinking water.
The sanitary facilities are also in harmony with nature: dry toilets whose waste is composted.

The amenities

The outdoor kitchen is equipped with fridge, electric hob, coffee maker, wood-burning stove, cooking utensils (pots, pans, barbecue tongs, wooden spoon, dishes), basic ingredients (salt, oil, vinegar, etc.).
The space is equipped with several electrical outlets. Phones and other devices can be recharged easily. All equipment is shared.

The activities

At the crossroads of hiking trails and the shared-use path, cycling and walking enthusiasts can discover the region at their own pace.
Located 18km from Bayeux, you can visit its famous tapestry, experience the thrills of Bayeux Aventure (skydiving, tree climbing, zip lines, bouncy castles for the whole family) or book a horseback ride. On site, you'll find a variety of outdoor and board games, as well as free access to the vegetable garden where fruit and vegetables await you.

SNCF train station 10km away - we can pick you up from the station on request (extra charge).

Other things

6 kilometers from all amenities.
The neighbouring farm produces bread, beer, cookies, etc.

No motorized vehicles on site.
Access to the vegetable garden is regulated according to the season and the crops being grown.
