Description

An atypical night in a bucolic and family country setting, where it is good to wake up with the birds singing and the view on the pond.
A little corner of paradise for nature lovers and those who like unusual accommodation.

The setting

The caravan is on the grounds of our house, separated by a stream. It is located 20 meters from the Ille-et-Rance canal, 25 minutes from Rennes and 45 minutes from the sea and the Mont Saint Michel.

The spots

It is a caravan that was designed for an unusual accommodation on a hotel site.
It is very cosy, there are beds for 5 people, a small bathroom with a shower, a tap, a toilet and a kitchenette with a fridge, electric plates and a sink.

A small local and seasonal organic catering is possible if you wish, just send me a message before your arrival so that I can organize it (around 7€ per person)

Rules

We do not have any rules except the one of benevolence and respect: respect the equipment, turn off the taps, collect, sort and throw away your waste, respect the calm and the sleep of the neighbors...

We are non-smokers and prefer that the grounds remain so. You can go to the canal a few meters away to smoke. Thank you for your understanding.

So that I can organize myself, thank you to warn me by SMS of your arrival time in the afternoon which can be done from 2 pm. Departures are in the morning.

Outstanding

  • In search of the sixth sense! A unique family experience where we were able to awaken all our senses. In a bucolic setting, we were first of all surprised by the availability of our hosts and the quality of our accommodation which smelled of beeswax polish. Night walk around the pond to observe the hunting of bats and to hear the song of the tawny owl. Horseback riding during which the children enjoyed brushing the ponies. Sharing of artisanal ice creams at the Canal House, on the terrace of the lock keeper's house of "L'Ille flottante"... And the sixth sense? Learn to let go of time... to be active without haste!
