Description

One block away from the triangle in Kihei. It is a 3 minute walk to multiple bars, restaurants, and shopping. It is a 6 minute walk to the Kalama beach park. 7 minutes to the Cove beach park which is a great spot for beginning surfers and SUP boarders. Yard has private access, outdoor heated open shower, outdoor enclosed toilet, washer/dryer, and a grill. No fires please. Please respect the neighbors and keep noise down. You can go have a great time at the triangle and then walk here easily with no need to ride share or risk driving.

The setting

The yard is complete fenced and private. Normal neighborhood noises. Enjoy the natural wake up call of the local wild chickens and birds.

The spots

There are two spots for tents in the yard. Place your tent on one of the grassy spots and enjoy meeting other like minded yard campers. Each spot can fit a 4 person tent, usually good for two people. The yard is fenced and has a key code to get in. One full-sized off road parking space per booking. Two large mango trees in front yard, help yourselves!

The sanitary facilities

This place has all the basics plus some extra beyond typical camping. There is a flushing toilet, hot water outdoor shower, washer/dryer, and gas grill. Everything is enclosed in the yard that can be shared by two tents.

The amenities

Good high speed wifi available. Good to stream movies on your iPad in your tent if you still can't sleep after adventuring on the island all day. There is an outdoor pantry with a toaster oven (not a microwave), camping plates, utensils, and coffee maker. There is one extension cord available per tent with a split plug that allows two chargers each.

The activities

This is the most ideal location in Kihei for surfing, shopping, bars, and restaurants. Everything is within easy walking distance. Surfboards, boogie boards, and dive gear are available for additional charge for rental.

Rules

Please be courteous of the neighbors and keep noise down to a reasonable amount. No music after 10pm.

Tent ready

4 person tents (good for 2 adults), air mattresses available, bedding, and linens available with cash or Venmo onsite. Toothbrushes and other bathroom amenities available for free if you forget yours.
