Nature camping on the North Sea dike with an unobstructed view over pastures and fields to the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site
The setting

There are (still) no sanitary facilities. No WC.
You can buy camper toilets before the start of the trip, or also here on site in Esens. In Neuharlingersiel in front of the campsite is a disposal station.
My farm is located in the middle of a bird, water and nature reserve.
I see it as my task to protect this!
For organizational reasons, I ask that you give me an approximate time of arrival when booking.
For the planning of the place I ask you to let me know if you come with a tent, van or camper.

The spots
Who loves it quite simply in the middle of nature, is right here. Here fox and hare say good night to each other, pheasants with their young strut past, deer graze without shyness, harriers, buzzards and gulls glide over the fields, ...
Within sight lies the dike. Behind it the wide Wadden Sea panorama - a new, intense experience at any time of day.
Swimming, cycling, hiking along the dike and on the offshore North Sea islands. Langeoog can be reached by boat regardless of the tide.
There is a large fortified place for 3 WoMos and a horse pasture for 2 - 3 tents. From both the wide North Sea panorama opens up.
Both sites are 5 minutes walk from the dyke and thus from the North Sea and are connected to bike paths on land and sea side.
The tent site has neither water nor electricity.
The farm is a traditional Gulfhof from about 1900, which I have acquired in very dilapidated condition and now piece by piece again habitable and livable, by preserving the old building fabric despite modern technology with a lot of flair as far as possible. The surrounding pastures see only natural fertilizer and also the old tree population is naturally preserved. With pleasure waysides and grass surfaces sometimes somewhat more overgrow, represent nevertheless living environment and protection area for various animals. Toads live right in front of my door, many birds nest in the barn, hawks and buzzards in the tall trees, and barn owls screech around the (email hidden)From the places you can see indescribably beautiful starry skies, sunrises, sunsets and a lot of nature.

The amenities
I provide electricity and water for the camper pitches for an extra charge of € 3 each per night.
The activities
East Frisia is a land of cyclists. accordingly, the possibilities to get from A to B by bike are manifold. Directly in front of the dike you can swim.
You can learn kiting and windsurfing in Neuharlingersiel.
Slowly sloping beaches, which are also suitable for smaller children, can be found in coastal resorts such as Neuharlingersiel and Bensersiel. Ferries to the islands also depart from here. Here you will find the nearest shopping facilities, as well as restaurants and cafes.
Due to its well-connected location, the farm is a good starting point for exploring northern Germany. Cities like Wilhelmshaven, Aurich or Oldenburg are not far away. Many small villages offer a lot of history, and culture.
