Description

Our family of globetrotters, experienced in backpacking through some 30 countries over the past 25 years, will welcome you for a stopover or a longer stay, either on your own or with others.
Wishing you a pleasant stay, we look forward to meeting you for a night or an extended stay.
From a retreat from the outside world in a wellness bubble to a unique pied-à-terre in the heart of the Burgundy Franche-Comté region, there's no shortage of ideas for getting out and about, and discovering the beauty of the world to suit every taste and budget.

The setting

We welcome you to the heart of a charming, friendly village of 300 inhabitants for a relaxing stopover in our haven of peace at the bottom of our garden on the edge of a small village in the heart of nature.
You'll be able to spend your nights in a peaceful green setting under the stars, and enhance your stay with zen and relaxing moments in our large Californian swimming pool overlooking the fields.
From your pitch, you can take a refreshing and inspiring stroll along a white path and enjoy the view over the estate.

The spots

Flat, shaded green area at the bottom of the garden (cars can be parked 100 m away in the courtyard in front of our building).
Only small tents that do not damage the vegetation are allowed (on request, we can provide two 2- 3-seater tents that will be set up before your arrival).

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets will be provided in a teepee made from the estate's bamboo, as well as a solar shower while the main house is being renovated.

The amenities

Wifi available on the terrace.
Possibility of access to kitchen equipment for breakfast (kettles, coffee makers, microwaves) or during the day, subject to availability.
For swimming and aquagym, loan of French fries, board, pool-boy...
Outdoor extension cord with electricity for charging laptops close to the building.
To make your stay a memorable one, don't hesitate to ask for games and books. If you're in the mood for a bit of outdoor exercise, we can lend you exercise bikes, weights and steppers, as well as floor mats, on request. Vacations are also made for getting back into shape.

The activities

Just 10 minutes from the Eurovélo route 6, with its invigorating forest walks and river bathing spots, there are plenty of opportunities to get away from it all.
Just 10 minutes from Dole, Pasteur's birthplace and historic town, in the heart of the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region and halfway between the 2 jewels of Dijon and Besançon, just 30 minutes by car (frequent direct train shuttles 10 min away), you can combine your relaxing nature break with the hustle and bustle of city culture. Our family of experienced backpacking globetrotters will welcome you for a stopover or a pleasant stay, either on your own or with others. Quiet, eco-friendly travelers only. An atmosphere conducive to rest and relaxation.
To respect your space, if other travelers wish to camp on the same dates, this will depend on your agreement.

Rules

- ground access H24 but respecting the calm of the place.
- no smoking, no alcohol allowed
- children under parents' responsibility with no unsupervised access to the pool.
- shared pool access from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. (possibility of private rental for a supplement of 20 euros per hour via a website including specific insurance).
In case of bad weather (thunderstorms or heavy rain), a shelter will be provided in a room on the ground floor.

    We were kindly provided with 2 tents for my son and myself, set up in a quiet, shady spot. It was great to be able to enjoy the large swimming pool so freely and in such a friendly atmosphere. The village of Rainans is very pretty (craft market on the 2nd Sunday of the month), and the town of Dole, 10 minutes away by car, is well worth a visit.
    We've made a good note of the address if we're looking for another green break just 2 hours from Lyon.
