Description

Lovers of nature and peace, anglers or not, we welcome you to Ti'camping on the edge of our 2.2-hectare pond. Our Tente Libellule, a fully-equipped 4-person tent, has a breathtaking view over the Etang; there are also 5 "free" camping pitches around the Etang.

The setting

Nestled in the heart of the Bresse du Jura, Foulenay is a tiny village with just 84 inhabitants. The setting is very quiet, and the access road is not very busy.
If you're a fisherman, you're welcome to bring your own fishing gear (No Kill), as carp, pike, tench and black bass populate the pond. Nature lovers will delight in observing all the life around the water, and the calm that reigns here.

The spots

The Tente Libellule is 25m². It has solar lighting. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a 140x190 bed and the other with 2 single beds. The living room has a dining area and a kitchenette: a 2-burner gas stove, a mini gas oven, a fridge and all the cooking equipment you need. A 20-liter water tank. A wood-burning stove keeps you warm! The room has a large opening onto the terrace, with a direct view of the Etang, with sofa, 2 armchairs and coffee table. Can be rented for 3 nights or more in July/August, or for 2 nights or more out of season; sliding-scale rates.

The sanitary facilities

Just 20 meters from the Tente Libellule, an independent cabin is at your disposal. We have running water, but the electricity is solar-powered and the 2 water heaters are gas-powered. The cabin has 2 bathrooms, each with WC, washbasin and shower; a sink for washing up and a washing machine. We provide environmentally-friendly cleaning products and detergents. The sanitary facilities are regularly cleaned by us. Outside, a water point.

The amenities

No wifi, but 4G is available! For your comfort, beds are made on arrival, and towels provided. 2-burner gas stove + grill, mini gas oven, fridge, pots, pans and kitchen utensils, 20-liter water tank, dishes for 4. Sockets available for recharging phones or computers (solar-powered), a wood-burning stove to keep you warm!

The activities

Campers/fishermen can fish directly from the pond (No Kill); there's a small play area for children, and "all terrain" petanque balls are available.
We're very close to the "Tour du Jura à vélo version loisirs" circuit, and there are many signposted bike trails in the area. We are 12 km from Bletterans, 17 km from Poligny, 27 km from Château-Chalon - Baume-les-Messieurs, Arbois, Lons le Saunier and Dole...

Rules

The place is very quiet. Noise is to be avoided as much as possible, no radios!
Entrance is through the main gate, which opens directly onto the parking lot. You can't drive around the pond.
Swimming in the pond is prohibited.
The tent is non-smoking, but smokers are asked not to leave cigarette butts on the ground or in the water (the fish don't eat them!!). Ashtrays are available.
Because of the presence of the pond and surrounding ditches, children must never be left unsupervised.
Dogs are welcome, but not in the bedrooms; they must always be kept under control (leash or rope) so as not to disturb other campers; no swimming for them either, as there may be hooks in the water! Please pick up all "popos".

Possibility of breakfast (€10 / person)

Breakfast, on reservation, is mainly composed of home-made and/or local products, with a "sweet" version: bread, butter, jam, pancakes, or cakes, or pastries, yogurt, fruit or compote, juice and hot drink, or a "savory" version: bread, butter, jam, cheese, eggs, cold cuts, juice and hot drink... We deliver directly to the Tent, from 8:00 a.m. or later if you prefer.
