Description

Welcome to Fred and Cora. We welcome you to our large private garden on the edge of a meadow in a small hamlet typical of the Haut Doubs region. You'll be the only one to enjoy it, as we only accept one reservation at a time.

The setting

Authentic setting in the heart of the Haut Doubs in the Jura mountains. South-facing with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, our 1733 Comtoise farmhouse and converted granary.
The plot is close to a dairy farm. There's no traffic noise here, only the bells of our beautiful Montbéliardes.

The spots

Land at the bottom of the property. Free-standing on level ground. Access via a small, slightly sloping downhill slope (goes well in dry weather with car and caravan, van). No shade as trees are still young.

The sanitary facilities

Odor-free, regularly cleaned Trobolo dry toilet system.
Solar shower and Decathlon cabin available.
24-hour access to fresh water

The amenities

Electricity to campsite via extension lead and fresh water available 24 hours a day, barbecue, hammock.
Access authorized to small electrified chalet with fridge, raclette oven, fondue pot, waffle iron.
Black or grey water drainage on request, see possibility.

Access at 300 m to the GTJ hiking and mountain-biking trail.
Just a few minutes' walk from Rochers du Cerf, with its wildlife and magnificent views of the Bernese Alps.
Downhill mountain biking and summer tobogganing in Métabief, chairlift for hiking to the Mont d'Or summit 35 minutes away by car.
Numerous hiking trails on site.
Lac du St Point 35 minutes away by car.

The Cirque de Le Creu du Van in neighboring Switzerland 40 minutes away.

  • A lovely 3-night/4-day stay in October at Coralie and Frédéric's idyllic home!

    You won't regret your stay: total autonomy with electricity, permanent access to water, dry toilets available, solar shower also available, a fire pit... etc...
    Not forgetting, if need be, an old granary equipped with electricity, heating, a bed... also available for people who don't have all the equipment to be self-sufficient.

    Coralie and Frédéric are friendly, welcoming, accommodating and attentive to their guests' needs, while remaining discreet when required. They adapt to their guests' needs, desires and temperaments. A truly wonderful encounter, whether with Coralie and Frédéric or their three children, not forgetting of course their dog who is as adorable as anything! Don't change a thing!

    The place is quiet, in the middle of nature, in the heart of the Jura mountains, but in the Haut Doubs (special dedication to Fred ????), conveniently located between Pontarlier and Mortau, close to many activities and visits, which are well summarized in the advert... (Hiking, lakes, Mont d'Or site, château, Jura Parc abbey, various visits linked to local produce, direct proximity to Switzerland...)

    A stay that lets you take a deep breath of fresh air and recharge your batteries, really top-notch, nothing to complain about!
