Description

We offer you the use of the front courtyard of our building, situated in a small lane on the edge of the village.
A restful, relaxing setting with trees and old, whitewashed stonework.
The adjoining terrace is ideal for relaxing and getting away from it all, with tables and chairs reserved for you during your stay for meals or relaxation (+ wifi).

The setting

We welcome you to the heart of a charming, friendly village of 300 inhabitants for a relaxing stopover in our haven of peace at the bottom of our garden on the edge of a small village in the heart of nature.
You'll be able to spend the night in a peaceful green setting, and add a touch of zen and relaxation to your stay in our large Californian swimming pool overlooking the fields.
From our home, you can take a pleasant, rejuvenating and inspiring stroll along a white path and soar over the estate.

The spots

Part of the plot is flat with white gravel.
The estate is located in a shady lane at the bottom of the village.
There is only the mill house below, so only one family passes through daily.
An ideal, easily accessible location in a friendly, flower-filled village (3 stars) of 300 inhabitants, 10 minutes from the historic town of Dole, for a relaxing stopover in the heart of the Burgundy Franche-Comté region.
Just thirty minutes from Dijon and Besançon, a green setting with a large Californian-style swimming pool, ideal for relaxing and unwinding, overlooking the fields.

The sanitary facilities

Indoor sanitary facilities, dry toilets and a solar-powered shower are available in the garden while work is in progress.

The amenities

You can spend quiet moments, eating, reading or playing on the many sunny or shady terraces at the foot of the building.
Handmade barbecues are available in the exotic teak area in front of the bamboo grove, with a breathtaking view of the pool and fields on the horizon.
Services = extension cord for electricity at an extra charge of 3 euros per night / drinking water supplied (in reasonable quantities, especially for camper vans, or with a supplement for a more substantial service).

The activities

To enhance your rest and well-being, we can lend you two meditation cushions, invite you to watch the stars from the large garden trampoline, and allow soft, inspiring music or sunshine during your lazy moments by the pool or on your pitch.
Musicians can practice harp, piano or guitar for everyone's enjoyment, with instruments provided by Romain and the girls.
Drawing, painting or arts and crafts equipment is also available for those who wish to take an artistic break, as Stéphanie is an amateur painter.
To enhance your relaxation, we lend you books, board games and children's toys.
To enhance your sporting activities, we can provide bicycles, steppers, exercise bikes, floor mats, gloves and punching bags, ping pong tables, French fries and boards for water aerobics, etc., on request.

Other things

Your stopover or extended stay can be independent or shared, depending on your wishes and availability.
It's a real pleasure for us 4 to offer travelers "a home away from home" during their vacations, and we'll do everything we can to make your stay a memorable one.

Rules

- ground access H24 but respecting the calm of the place.
- no smoking, no alcohol allowed
- children are the responsibility of their parents, and access to the pool is forbidden without supervision (special diapers are required for very young children). The pool is located on the other side of the building, facing due west and offering a natural view of the sky at the end of the day.
- Shared pool access from 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. (private rental available for an additional 20 euros per hour via a website with specific insurance).

Tent ready

If you or some of your guests wish to switch to ground level to be even closer to nature, we can lend you tents set up before your arrival: two 2- and 3-person tents are provided at the bottom of the garden (loan of equipment such as headlamps, sleeping bags... at extra cost).

  • A great stopover for the 3 of us at the Domaine, and a wonderful meeting with Stéphanie, Romain and their daughters. On Stéphanie's advice, we took the opportunity to discover Dol's municipal swimming pool with sauna, hammam and jacuzzi (it's raining, but the people of Dol have the sun in their hearts ❤️).
