Description

It is an old fish farm, in a very wild valley of the Cantal.
A vast area along the river is dedicated to wild and eco-responsible camping.

The setting

Here we are in a small isolated paradise, very green and intact, where the river refreshes us. Ideal to recharge your batteries and cut off from everything else...

The spots

The land is flat and huge, with the river and large pools of water.
We have marked some sites with wood chips, campers will have plenty of space and privacy.

The sanitary facilities

These are 3 brand new dry toilets!

The amenities

A small shared kitchen with cooking utensils, oven and gas hob, a shelf in a shared fridge.
2 showers heated with gas, electrical outlets to recharge your appliances thanks to solar panels.

The activities

The lake of the enchanet dam is about 20 minutes away, as well as the village of Salers and Aurillac at 35 minutes.
A butcher and grocery store are 7 minutes away by car.

Other things

A particular vigilance with regard to the stoves and any flame, will be asked.

Rules

We leave the car in the parking lot, we use a cart to bring our stuff to the place we choose.
There are only 2 places for vans, and 6 for tents.
The ground is bordered by the river and there are several water points; be careful with young children.

Outstanding
  • Nicholas' field is a very beautiful space, we feel really out of place, the dry toilets are very clean. We spent beautiful evenings watching the stars. Thanks to Nicholas for his welcome.
