Description

500 meters from the center of Grenade where every Saturday we have the "famous" market in the region (with many local producers) under the remarkable hall of the 13th century.
25 minutes from Toulouse
25 minutes from Montauban
Outdoor public parking available
Bus from Grenade, Tram from Beauzelle at 15 minutes, Blagnac Airport at 20 minutes

The setting

Grenade is located in the northern suburbs of Toulouse, a town of 9,000 inhabitants with all amenities (various shops, supermarkets, doctors etc.). We have our own cinema! We are situated in the middle of a triangle between the Gers, the Tarn et Garonne and the Tarn. Many walks, visits of villages, museum Aeroscopia, space city, Zoo African Safari, etc.). We are on the road to Spain - close to the roads to Santiago de Compostela. Small quiet town, municipal lighting turned off between midnight and 6am. After 6:30-7:00 pm it is very quiet. My house is in a quiet residential area.

The spots

The location is on my front lawn, a bit of shade at the end of the day, surrounded by hedges on 3 sides, the 4th side you have a view on the rooms of the house (I reassure you, they are almost never used except when I have my 2 small children during their school vacations). The ground is rather flat. It is about 5 m x 4 m - suitable only for tents (and of corresponding dimensions, because around it are flowerbeds + - depending on the season)

The sanitary facilities

You will have access to a shower room (with hot water) with WC, as well as in the laundry room access to the sink to do your dishes and take water (it is drinkable). No problem of schedules because it is in the extension of the house just behind the garage so I am not bothered by the noise.

The amenities

Please note that there is no electricity at the tent site. (From midnight, the municipality turns off the public lighting - bring your flashlight). You can leave your cell phone to be charged inside (in the garage or in the laundry room). I also accept to put some groceries in my refrigerator, and even to put the freezer containers in the freezer. Wifi internet access.
I can lend a small camping table, seats, plates, glasses and bowl if needed

Rules

Rules of propriety in behavior, respect and tranquility of the owners (especially after 22:00)
No smoking in my house - but accepted outside (ashtray provided)
Arrival from 11:00 am (before 8:00 pm) - Departure before 11:00 am the next day
Access to the pool when it is at temperature (between June and September normally) - Hours from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm - out of hours, the pool is blocked by a shutter for security. If children are present, the pool will be closed when parents are not present.
Access to sunbathing seats or deck chairs (deck chairs can be placed near your tent on your pitch for your relaxing evenings!
Children should never be alone without their parents at the pool.
Avoid them to shout and run around for the respect of other people and the neighborhood. For your information, the pool is about 1,50m deep, so avoid diving into the water (risk of injury). It's a liner so avoid sharp and prickly objects (no shoes, no rings...)
No ball games on the house grounds - however there is a large public green space right next to the house where you can play ball, badminton etc....
You will be asked to pay 5 euros per night for an extra tent set up on the grounds in addition to your own tent. (for example a small Canadian).
It is not possible to empty your camping toilet in my sanitary facilities.
Breakfast: please inform me when booking at least for the first breakfast - Schedule to be defined the night before
Laundromat at 700m (near the supermarket) - You can hang your laundry on the outside clothesline
Sorting garbage cans (household, cardboard/plastic, and glass) at your disposal - and Compost bin
