  • Thanks again, a great time at your place. The possibility of kayaking and even sharing an aperitif around the table. More than pleasant, I recommend you!

  • Diana and Christophe accepted my last-minute reservation, and welcomed me with an apero after I had settled into my pitch. If you're looking for a quiet campsite, I recommend you try one of Christophe's liqueurs,
Thank you Diana and Christophe, and Homecamper

  • A timeless weekend.

Where do I begin to describe this little corner of paradise...

The setting, lost in the Poitevin marshes, is ideal for escaping - for a weekend (or more) - the hustle and bustle of the city.

The arrival at Diana and Christophe's home begins with a warm welcome and a tour of the property, with a wide choice of pitches, bordered by the canals of the Marais Poitevin.

Garden furniture available, campfire facilities (we love them!), canoes also available for adventures, crayfish fishing kit, and the list could go on: everything is set up to make campers feel good and keep them busy :)

Point ++: The sanitary facilities are clean and have hot water, which is really cool!

As for the welcome, it's simple and warm, and the conversation flows naturally over a generously-provided drink to discover the local produce (trouspinette and préfou in particular).

One thing's for sure, we'll be back :)

  • Lovely meeting, perfect welcome, many thanks

  • realy nice place, with a lot of space. I just stayed for one night but it was good.

  • Very nice campspot and owners!

  • My first experience with homecamper will undoubtedly leave me with wonderful memories of a warm welcome in a lovely green setting. Lovely meeting! Thanks to Christophe and Diana for sharing.

  • A very friendly welcome from Diana and Christophe, with whom I spent a very pleasant time.
Openness, respect, trust and sympathy reign in this island of greenery where I was able to recharge my batteries by soaking up the beauty of the site and doing Qi gong between two showers in the sun, charmed by the rustle of the wind, the call of the geese, the sight of a squirrel...
    A wonderful discovery!
I'll be delighted to return to this haven of peace and conviviality.
Many thanks to Diana and Christophe for being such great hosts!

  • Like being on a desert island after crossing the wooden bridge... peace and quiet, campfires, wild animals, nature... my children loved it. Christophe is there, not on your back, but there when you need him for advice, and for very interesting discussions. Thank you once again

  • An unforgettable stay in an exceptional area lovingly managed by Diana and Christophe. We stood in the midst of fruit trees surrounded by the green Venice. An environment like from a fairy tale book. The sanitary facilities simple but clean and very functional. In the evening we tasted various home-made fruit liqueurs - delicious! Good that we did not have to drive! For us a pleasant way to brush up our French. The two are really very sympathetic! The access road due to numerous potholes absolutely recommended in daylight - then quite feasible! Thank you for a perfect 2-night stop!

  • A very warm welcome.
We enjoyed every moment in this unique and wonderful spot.

  • Very nice first home camping experience. Thank you for the warm welcome.

  • Super site with shade and space. Very warm welcome from Christophe and Diana. Very well located for discovering the Marais Poitevin. We recommend this address.
    Vive la trouspinette ????

  • A very attentive welcome despite my late arrival. This vast, peaceful place is like a small island of light and water, where nature lives in total tranquility. A little paradise to be preserved, where you can feel at peace. Thank you for this wonderful discovery.

  • Great place, a change of scenery and very family-friendly. We loved being able to canoe to our heart's content.
Thank you Diana and Christophe for your warm welcome.

  • A lovely corner of paradise for people who want to get away from it all.
A warm welcome, the owners are super friendly and charming.
We recommend these places without any problem, we'll be back with great pleasure.

  • Beautiful grounds with fruit trees. Plenty of space to be away from the other campers, in complete privacy. We could have gone canoeing, but gave up because we don't manage well and everything is lined with brambles... lots of mosquitoes - take what you need. Hot water is available, which feels good. I would just say that the sanitary facilities are a little lacking in cleanliness. Thanks for the warm welcome and above all for letting us enjoy the day as we arrived late.

  • We spent two nights in Christophe and Diana's garden, an incredible place if you want to get closer to nature. We had a lovely canoe trip in the marshes around the house. The facilities (toilet and shower) are very clean. Christophe and Diana are two very welcoming, kind people who know how to make you feel welcome. We'll definitely be coming back to stay with them when we're in the area. Many thanks again

  • Magnificent, immense grounds planted with trees, bordered by conches that can be navigated using the canoes provided. Christophe's warm welcome and the opportunity to taste Troussepinette, a speciality of the Vendée region.

  • Very nice welcome, friendly campsite I recommend.

  • Great stay with Christophe and Diana! A very warm welcome, a quiet place, perfect for disconnecting! The kids loved the place too, with all the space to play in, and the canoe that rounded off our stay. A bit far from everything and not easy to get to, especially with a caravan, but it's easy to get there, and with all this peace and quiet, it's worth it!

  • We were warmly welcomed. The location is great, between the marshes.
A great adventure with a canoe trip that took a little longer than expected but left us with some great memories.
Many thanks for your welcome, we'll keep your address in a safe place.

  • Christophe and Diana are very friendly people the place is really top notch the proof me and my son had to stay 2 days we stayed 4 days it's quiet and relaxing crayfish fishing top????the cayak ride and super all the facilities very good electricity, water, and especially hosts top notch we will return with great pleasure good luck to you 2 chris and matteo...

  • Christophe is a perfect host: discreet, efficient, attentive and above all generous!
    Thank you very much!

  • Flat, shady site, access road passable but not paved. Excellent welcome from Diana and Christophe, who know how to create a bond between campers!

  • Many thanks to Diana and Christophe for their warm welcome and idyllic setting! We had a wonderful stay in the heart of nature, on an island of greenery and in the woods. We were even allowed to make a fire! Chamalos grill evening! The afternoon was spent building a hut and fishing for crayfish, not forgetting the canoe trip! Great encounters...100% recommended.

  • Thank you very much Christophe and Diana, two very welcoming people, pleasant grounds, super beautiful house with direct access to the Venise verte.
    Vive la trouspinette!

  • A warm welcome, a very friendly host available, and a lovely, very quiet setting. We enjoyed our stay

  • Very pleasant and welcoming hosts, unpaved access but perfectly passable with a "normal" vehicle.
My daughter and I enjoyed our short stay.
    Thank you

  • We enjoyed our two-night stay in this little paradise in the Marais Poitevin! Christophe and Diane are very warm and sympathetic. The tranquility is wonderful, you have everything you need! An absolute must!

  • The welcome and the grounds are as nice as can be! Incredible peace and quiet in a beautiful natural setting. BUT! The toilets and shower are in a state of disrepair, as is the fridge, which is cooled in the freezer and at room temperature elsewhere. Lending a canoe is a good thing, but you'd better avoid stirring up the water around the site, as it gives off an unpleasant odor. Christophe has nothing to do with it, but it's important to know. Despite everything and the rainy weather we had, the stay went quite well! One more detail for your information: to access the site, it's better to bring a 4x4 than another vehicle.

  • Excellent stopover in Christophe and Diana's garden. Beautiful, wooded plot in a quiet location. Lots of possibilities for pitching a tent without being on top of each other. Suggestions for using the canoes. Very human and friendly welcome. A great experience to recommend.

  • Superb stopover
    Very friendly welcome!
We were installed in the orchard
The children enjoyed the picking... Short canoe trip
    Quiet and peaceful night
    I recommend this address

  • Hello,
Our stay with Diana and Christophe was short but very pleasant. These hosts are adorable, friendly and very welcoming. You want peace and quiet, you get peace and quiet, you want nature, you get nature. In short, a little corner of paradise in the middle of nowhere. I highly recommend Lydie

  • A very pleasant stay in a superb setting, Christophe and Diana are very welcoming and generous. I highly recommend it!

  • Very nice experience, the site is perfect, we had a whole space for us, kanoe available, very nice hosts I recommend ????!

  • We spent a night in very good conditions: a very warm welcome, a beautiful site between fruit trees, in the heart of the Poitevin marshes. Thank you very much!

  • Great welcome.
    Quiet, clean place.
    With many pleasant surprises.

  • Christophe was very welcoming and available.
The site is spacious, and the sanitary facilities are very good. I recommend it!

  • First time using HomeCamper and what a lovely experience. Diana and Christophe were very welcoming and invited us to a lovely aperitive at the main house. Lovely setting and perfect place to relax, read a book, or enjoy the scenery. Thank you very much Diana and Christophe, see you next time!

  • Thank you Christophe and Diana for your wonderful welcome...We didn't think we'd find such a pleasant place...with such a warm welcome...
Everything here is beautiful...the canoe trip is magical!
We'll be back with great pleasure.
Only one complaint: I hadn't realized that you could buy this very good trouspinette...
    Thanks again.

  • If you're looking for peace and quiet, a very pleasant and relaxing place, don't hesitate to go to Diana and Christophe's. You'll have everything you need. Thank you to Diana and Christophe for allowing us to spend a very pleasant weekend in your beautiful region.

  • Great stay, very welcoming and super pleasant site. Small regret that we were only passing through for the night so we could not enjoy the activities offered on site which looked great (canoeing, hiking, biking).

  • Secluded spot in a natural setting.
Christophe and Diana are lovely hosts.
Share the little corner of paradise.
    Highly recommend.

  • Our (short) stay was very pleasant, with a warm welcome. We sampled the local/homemade specialties. Very tasty. We also took a little canoe trip with our two daughters: a bit of adventure on the marshes. The site was perfect for our camper, especially as we had the whole site to ourselves. Thank you very much!

  • There's nothing to say, the people are very welcoming and kind, the setting is calm and relaxing, and the little plus++ are the canoes available, with a boat at the bottom of the site for sailing on the Marais. And don't forget the welcome drink with the famous trouspinette ???? I'm sure that if I come back I'll go back without any hesitation.

  • When you step into Christophe and Diana's home, you're in another world.
A magical world surrounded by water, populated by joyful beings sprung from Christophe's imagination and expert hands.
Time flies by without you noticing, between barbecues, siestas and trouspinette evenings where you can remake the world and have a good laugh.
The site is perfect, large, shady, calm and well-equipped.
I can't wait to return to Christophe and Diana's warm welcome and smiles for another enchanted interlude.
(And take a canoe for a trip on the canals..... )

  • I was looking for peace and quiet, so I took advantage of a green area with welcoming hosts who are kind to homecampeurs.
Thank you Diana, Thank you Christelle

  • What a great time we had on this large, well-kept plot with access to wooded areas and the marshes! Thanks to Diana and Christophe for their warm welcome. A beautiful presentation of the site and the equipment available to us as soon as we arrived, and then we were free. Discreet, they were able to answer all our questions, and especially those of our children, thanks to their perfect knowledge of the marsh. We'll be back, the call of the troussepinette surely ????

  • We spent a weekend in a green and quiet place. Diana and Christophe are adorable, thank you for this moment of sharing around a tasting of homemade trouspinette.
    We'll be back ????
