Description

In a garden planted with fruit trees, close to the road leading to the Col de Turini, NO direct NEIGHBORS or overlooked areas.

The setting

It's a plot with a few fruit trees behind our house.
Sunshine most of the day, wash-house available, road not very busy. Beautiful views of the mountains, including Mangiabo, and the village is a 15-minute walk away.

The spots

Shady or semi-shady pitches, easy access, flat terrain for campers.

The sanitary facilities

Cold water available at the outdoor washhouse.
No sanitary facilities, public toilets in the village or bring your own.

The amenities

Wifi is not available in the garden. You must use your mobile data.
I can provide a camping-gas, various dishes and pots, toaster and kettle in the house, Italian coffee maker, and basic groceries: salt, pepper, salt, sugar.
Also extra blankets or pillows.
Loan of tent canvas for the ground, I have a sleeping bag and a small mattress.
Electricity next to the washhouse, extension cord provided. Shelter for your equipment.
Garden table and chairs available

The activities

Numerous hikes, from Sospel, bicycle tours (passes), waterfall 5 minutes away by car, sea 35 mins away (Menton or Ventimiglia).

silence is preferable, if you have children, I inform you that I have 1 cat.
Smokers welcome as long as you don't pollute the grounds with your cigarette butts...

  • Catherine made us feel very welcome.
    She gave us good advice on public transport and activities to do...
    As for sanitary facilities, we asked her if we could use her toilets and bucket room, and of course we compensated her.
    We recommend her.

  • The response was very responsive to our request on New Year's Eve, and the welcome was perfect (gate left open, offer to restock). We spent a lovely night in Catherine's van. Departure was easy too, with no time constraints. The area is really wild and beautiful to explore.
