Description

We welcome you in our garden near the sea (15 kms).
You can enjoy our 28-degree heated swimming pool for as long as you like.
Our region has a lot to offer, from seaside activities to the Charente countryside, and historic towns like La Rochelle and Rochefort.
We're close to La Vélodyssée, the French section of the Atlantic Coast Route - EuroVelo 1, a cycle route that crosses Brittany and runs along the Atlantic to the Basque coast on a wild and invigorating course. You can take a break with your bikes, which will be stored in our garage.

The setting

Quiet, relaxing 2,500 m2 wooded garden with a gravelled courtyard for your vehicles. No noise, as we are in a very quiet area known as Cugné.
As we are non-smokers, we ask you to respect the rules and not to throw cigarette butts on the ground.

The spots

A large electric gate opens onto a gravelled courtyard.there are several electric sockets for camper vans and caravans.easy access in front of the house. Tents on the grass, close to the swimming pool.
The independent sanitary facilities (undergoing work this year) will be open in spring, with shower, toilet and washbasin for our homecampers' convenience.

There's a separate modern bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.
We also have a chemical toilet outside under a Quechua tent and a solar shower by the pool, 10l outside, and cold water taps outside.
A small camping tent in case of equipment failure.

The amenities

Water, gas barbecue, electricity... You can use the sheltered summer kitchen with various cooking utensils, crockery, pots and pans, table and chairs with sofa. Basic ingredients, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and tea bags. Top fridge. And you ask me for everything you'll need.

The activities

From May to the end of September (weather permitting) you'll have access to the 5 m x 10 m heated swimming pool, the pétanque and shuffleboard court, and summer games.

discover, take and/or give advice. So that those who enjoy this
sport/activity/leisure can share a pleasant moment.

Rules

Children must be supervised by their parents, the pool will be surrounded by nets but never leave a child alone without an adult.
Depending on your arrival times, please let me know the day before so that I can be available to receive you.
I accept calm animals under certain conditions; non-destructive and non-runaway as there is an unfenced part of the garden.

Tent ready

3-PLACE CAMPING TENT - with a two-person inflatable mattress in case of equipment failure. It's not permanently set up, just to tide you over if need be .free of charge.
In general, we'll be happy to lend you any equipment you may be lacking (crockery, cooking utensils, camping equipment, towels, etc.).

  • A very very lovely couple that makes you feel welcome on their property but even in their house! My small campervan was placed in front of their home, close to the street, but since it is a very calm neighbourhood surrounded by fields, I had an excellent night! Beautifull garden where kids can play, my dog was also happy to run free in their garden
