Description

5km from the center of Couzeix, I propose a flat plot of land in the countryside of about 800m2, south facing and quiet. Easy access at 8km/10 minutes from the exit 28 of the A20 in direction of Angoulême Périgueux, and at 11km from the airport of Limoges Bellegarde. Address recognized by GPS. Your vehicle is parked inside the property and at your convenience either in front of the house or at the pitches. We have a dog, your pets are welcome. I speak English fluently having grown up in England. I can pick you up by car (maximum 4 seats) at the airport or at Limoges station/Couzeix center if you are not motorized (no charge)

The setting

The land is marked with Homecamper signs from the road, it is located at the back and below the house and bordered on the south by a hedge. Land closed at night

The spots

Several pitches for up to 8 large tents on flat ground. Shade near the hedge. Nice clear view on the horizon to the west. Caravans only of small size because there is a tight curve and tree branches less than 3m high to access the site.

The sanitary facilities

Large bathroom with 1 toilet, 1 sink and 1 shower in the house on the ground floor with independent access H24. Cold water tap also at your disposal outside the house.

The amenities

In the middle of the pitches, you will find arbors with garden tables and chairs (except in case of heavy rain or strong wind), without extra charge. A barbecue is also at your disposal and some deckchairs. Wifi access outside the house on a part of the site up to 5m from the terrace (otherwise 4G). No electricity on the pitches, but you can charge your phones and electrical appliances in the cellar. A large fridge freezer is reserved for you next to the shower room and accessible H24. You can heat your meals in the microwave next to the bathroom and I can lend small gas stoves, dishes, pots, pans, kitchen utensils, salt/pepper/sugar without extra charge. I have LED lights if you need them for the night. Bike shed in the cellar. Shelter and meal possible in the cellar on garden furniture in case of heavy rain.

The activities

Hiking, biking. A hiking trail passes in front of the house and there are several hiking trails around Couzeix with itineraries that I will provide. You can reach Limoges on foot by taking a bus which passes 50m from the house but is not very frequent, otherwise I can drive you to Couzeix center at 5km if you are "pedibus jambus"!

Other things

Supermarket Casino open from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day including Sunday, shops, pharmacy, post office and gas station H24 in Couzeix center at 5km.

Rules

Possibility of breakfast (€7 / person)

I propose to serve you a breakfast outside under one of the arbors, or on the terrace, or in your tent/caravan/van from 7am until about 10am I am flexible being retired
Traditional: coffee or tea, chocolate milk, bread and croissant, brioche, butter and jam, fruit juice, dairy, fruit. Fresh bread and pastries picked up in the morning at the bakery (7 euros)
I also offer full English breakfasts with British products: coffee/tea, toast, 2 fried or scrambled eggs (fresh eggs from the henhouse), beans with tomato sauce, 2 Lincolnshire sausages, pudding, bacon, mushrooms, fried potatoes, tomatoes, bread, marmalade, sauces, jams, butter (10 euros)
I also offer friands and pies bought from a Scottish farmer/butcher in Limousin: beef friands "sausage rolls" (3 euros), pork pies (4 euros) and beef and onion bridies (4 euros).
I can also serve you these cold cuts and English breakfasts (which are in fact full meals!) at lunchtime and in the evening.
Please let me know when you make your reservation if you would like these breakfasts or British specialties as the butcher is over 50km away and closed one week a month.

Tent ready

I have at your disposal a small two-seater tent for 5 euros/night with camping equipment that I provide without extra charge (inflator, 2 folding camping beds, lamps, sardines, mallet). We also have a room in the cellar with independent access, usually unoccupied, with a 140cm bed (bedding provided), TV, small fridge, sofa, heating and overlooking the garden, for an extra 10 euros/night. For the bikers we don't have a garage but we have big tarpaulins to protect the bikes if you want, some tools, inflator, battery charger, wick kit, motor oil.
