Description

A true haven of peace in the Tarn valley.
Whether you're a lover of country walks, a Sunday fisherman, a siesta expert, a canoeist or a river dreamer, you'll find in our garden a place that reconciles all natures.

The setting

The old building is a landmark in the village of Villeneuve-sur-Tarn.
The water mill has existed since 1492.
Our garden, surrounded by water, invites you to a contemplative stay, where watching the sunrise and sunset is highly recommended.
For the more adventurous, you can explore the surrounding countryside by bike or on foot, canoe down the Tarn and visit medieval castles and churches, 19th-century industrial sites and the many local markets in the surrounding villages.
Sylvie will take you on a tour of her aromatic history garden.

The spots

We take only one reservation at a time in our garden.
Please note that for motorhomes, the height is limited to 3 m 15 and the width to 2 m 82.
The pitch is on the water's edge and shaded in the morning.
You'll hear the sound of running water and birdsong.
Price per day :
1 pitch 1 person - €14
additional person - €6
Electricity connection - €5
Access to sanitary facilities included

The sanitary facilities

Sanitary facilities with shower, WC and washbasin.

The amenities

Fridge and washing machine available. Electricity available outside (surcharge €5).

The activities

The Tarn valley is famous for its walks and canoe trips down the river. Albi is only 30 minutes away and there are many small villages and castles to visit: Brousse-le-Château, Ambialet, Coupiac, Licou...

Other things

For a bite to eat, there are two restaurants within walking distance of the house: L'auberge des Lauriers at 50 m and L'Hostal at 600 m, or you can do your shopping on foot in the seaside village of Trébas, 1 km from all amenities.

Rules

Let's respect nature: no smoker without an ashtray, no waste without sorting, no fire without a barbecue.
Silence after 11 p.m. for everyone's peace and quiet.
Children are the responsibility of their parents. Remember, you're in a water mill and there's water everywhere!
Pets are welcome, provided they get along with our dog, cats and chickens. All are free to roam the garden.

Outstanding
  • We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful garden. Slept well, lulled by the little stream...
