Description

My gite is located in the Cevennes, on terraced land with trees, with the possibility of only one vehicle (or tent) at a time, and a maximum of two travelers.
For campers, small size only because the roads are steep.

The setting

On the southern foothills of the Cevennes, the land is that of a cottage nestled in a green setting with a view over the valley of the Salendrinque and the surrounding peaks. The river, 100 m below, is delicately heard to lull the days and nights.

The spots

If you are in a van or camping car, there is a reserved pitch with trees, easy to access and 50 m from the house. For tents, there are several possible pitches on the site depending on the setting you want.

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities are for the moment in the private part of the gite that I occupy. There is no particular restriction. Hot water, WC, shower.

The amenities

A barbecue can be provided (depending on the season and forest fire restrictions).
Extension cord available for electrical connection.
Microwave available outside.
Tools and a workshop for DIY and repairs.

The activities

The land is crossed by the connecting path of the GR 61 which goes to the Rocher de l'Aigle, Saint-Jean du Gard... so hiking is recommended (loops from 1h30 to 6h or more).
Grocery store and restaurant at 5 minutes by foot. All shops in Lasalle (3 km).

Other things

The reception is open outside the rental period of the gite, so the atmosphere is calm.

Rules

The reception hours are flexible, we call before and arrange the appointment. For the access to the toilets, it is of course 24/24 for the toilets but we avoid the showers in the middle of the night...

The tarrain is crossed by dry stone walls, thus not sealed. It is important to use the stairs and paths, and not to climb, to avoid accidents and damage to this fragile heritage.

No waste should be left in the nature of course.

Campfires are not possible because of the risk of forest fires.
