Several camping possibilities: either in the open or in the forest.

The setting

The site is located in the heart of the Vosges du Nord Regional Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The spots

On half a hectare of varied terrain, there are numerous possibilities for pitching a tent. Knowing that the terrain is not very flat, I've built a platform. The many trees can also accommodate hammocks for nights under the stars.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets are available in the building, but can be accessed directly from the outside at any time of day.
A solar shower is available either on the platform or under the greenhouse, which is generally at a more suitable temperature.

The amenities

I share the summer kitchen and utensils (pots, plates, cutlery, etc.) if necessary. A multi-burner gas stove but no microwave. A barbecue and terrace are available. An extension lead can be provided if required.

The activities

The vast expanses of forest and typical villages of the Vosges du Nord are within easy reach. The glass-making sites of Wingen sur Moder, Meisenthal and Saint Louis are all within a 5 to 15km radius. La Petite Pierre is directly accessible by a GR trail in less than an hour.

Other things

I live in harmony with the environment and cultivate my vegetable garden using permaculture, which allows me to share some of my vegetables and fruit, depending on the season.

Rules

I live on the edge of a forest in harmony with nature, non-smoking and respectful of my environment. I ask my guests to adopt a similar behavior. They are free to come and go, and have free access to the house and grounds.
As we are committed to a 0-waste policy, I would be grateful if guests could sort and take away their waste.
