Treat yourself to a dwelling in nature so you can relax and leave behind the hustle and bustle and stress.
Surrounded by the colors, sounds, scents and materials of the forest... it is more than a campground, it is an outdoor home.
The setting
A campsite aimed at having minimal impact on the surrounding environment while maintaining a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The Chestnut tree is the protagonist of our predominantly steep forest. The outdoor rooms are set up mainly with reclaimed or natural materials.
The spots
The shelter is a waterproof and breathable cotton bell tent, a cool, dry shelter. It rests on a raised wooden platform among the shade of chestnut trees, giving the impression of sleeping in a tree house, and from up there, in July, you can admire the magical fireflies.
Inside, bed combinations can be:
2 Persons: One double
3 Persons: A double and a single bed
We give blankets, sheets, pillows for the beds.
The sanitary facilities
The toilet is a convenient, clean compost toilet that treats human solid waste through composting and dewatering processes, resulting in a final product that can be used as an organic soil conditioner in agriculture. The shower water is heated by solar panels and is at your complete disposal.
The amenities
The kitchen area is outside but covered and consists of a simple stove and sink; it is equipped with dishes and the essentials for cooking (there is no refrigerator) you can enjoy your meals at the large wooden table in the center of the gazebo. In this area you will find lighting, drinking water, power supply and free wi-fi.
The relaxation area is in the middle of the woods, and in the shade of the large walnut tree there is a mini playground for children who like to play in nature.
In addition, we will pamper you with delicacies that nature provides and authentic food.
Once a week you will smell the scent of bread coming out of the ancient wood-burning oven in our house, we bake real artisan bread with sourdough that will accompany local delicacies of your breakfasts. BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
The activities
Val Pellice is an area not known to many tourists, but with many picturesque places to visit and natural landscapes to admire, we will be happy to give you useful tips to make your vacation a real experience to live!
Starting from home, you can take several leisurely walks on the paths that connect the various hamlets in the forest or reach the Barfè refuge where you can dine on many delicious local dishes and if you are a true walker, climb to the summit of Mount Vandalino and enjoy the view.
Countless high-mountain treks start from the nearby weights Villar Pellice, Bobbio Pellice and Villanova, and only an hour away is the imposing Monviso (3,841m) or Sestriere, the highest town in Italy at 2,035 mt.
If, on the other hand, you just feel like unplugging, keeping a slow pace and stretching out to do nothing, then we recommend going for a dip at the cool Tumpi, the natural pools of the Pellice Valley streams; the water will have a rejuvenating effect on you.
Other things
The road to our forest is uphill, but don't be frightened it is paved and is about 7 km from the village (8 minutes by car and 45 minutes on foot). The nearest train station (Pinerolo) is 25 km from here; there are buses running on the Pinerolo-Torre Pellice line.
One day before your arrival I will send detailed directions and location to easily reach the place.
