The setting
Peaceful, quiet location with a few other campers nearby. Bar and two restaurants walking distance away, not so close that there are any noise issues :-). Desert climate where it is sunny 325+ days per year! Nice views of the desert, mountains, and ocean in the distance...
The spots
Spots are very large (30' wide, 75' long), with well compacted sand. No issues for our 45' Class A bus and 20' trailer...68' total length...so it will work for your rig, too! The sites are reasonably level. No shade is provided. Lots of room for big rigs to pull in and out. 75' is the maximum length; longer rigs may need to unhook and park side by side...
The sanitary facilities
Full hookups (city water, 50amp electrical, and sewer) are provided, but there are no other facilities onsite (no bathrooms, showers, etc). We can provide access to a clothes washer (but no dryer) for our guests.
The amenities
High Speed internet (WiFi) is provided at no extra charge for our guests.
The activities
San Felipe is a small (~20,000 population) Mexican fishing village. There is a full range of activities available locally, from desert excursions (by foot, by bicycle, ATV, Dune Buggy, side-by-side, or horseback), beach activities, fishing charters, whale watching, more than a hundred restaurants, pickle ball, swimming, live music...
Other things
I share with all my guests our tips for driving across the Mexican border from the USA, as well as a comprehensive list of local attractions, shopping, activities, restaurants, etc.
