Description

We're located on the banks of the Tarn, near the entrance to its gorges.
We are in a natural and peaceful environment.

The setting

Nestled on the banks of the Tarn, not far from the entrance to its gorges, between Florac and Ispagnac, we welcome you to our shaded area, in a calm and sumptuous natural setting. You'll have direct access to the river and its sandy beach.

For nature lovers, you may even have the chance to admire the surprising fauna of the Lozère...at certain quiet hours...

You'll also meet all our animal friends (pigs, ponies, hens, roosters, goats, sheep, rabbits, dogs and cats), whose mascot is Pépita!

From the beginning of July to the end of August, you'll be able to dine every evening, except Mondays, in our atypical restaurant. We offer a unique menu in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The bar and its large terrace, as well as the boulodrome, will liven up your summer evenings in a convivial atmosphere!

The location of our campsite, in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, at the foot of the Causse Méjean and at the entrance to the Gorges du Tarn, will enable you to (re)discover the wonders of Lozère.

We also have 4 rooms, two gites, a safari tent, a bubble, a lodge tent and a perched tent.

Our friendly, dynamic team welcomes you from June to the end of September.

  • We had a pleasant stay with our family. The proximity of the river and the quiet, shady setting make it a very pleasant place to stay. Our three daughters loved watching the animals. Very pleasant stay

  • It's a great place to spend a good time in nature, close to the river. It's a good campsite with clean, functional facilities.

  • very well placed for visiting the region.
cool at night despite the heatwave
    no bug problems
    good sanitary facilities
swimming in the tarn at the campsite

  • Nice quiet place. Dined with us at the table. Fine experience

  • Friendly campsite, but the smell of the toilets is annoying, depending on the location... Access to the toilets is complicated from the bottom of the campsite (steps with stones, slippery...). Land with trees and low branches, so maneuvering is not always easy depending on the height of motorhomes with nasturtiums...

  • I was looking for a quiet spot to pitch my tent... I was delighted! This campsite is fantastic! Lots of pitches surrounded by vegetation, on the banks of the Tarn, an exceptional restaurant so inexpensive for the quality, nice, clean sanitary facilities, peace and quiet... Perfect, I recommend 100% for all nature lovers!

  • Very welcoming,
a family campsite with animals and a play structure for the children,
I didn't stay long enough to taste their cuisine
but I would definitely come back

  • Rather nice campsite, but we ended up on a small pitch that wasn't level, and close to an alley with a lot of traffic. What's more, the manager wanted me to pay extra for electrical access (I paid 49 euros for 2 nights, I'd rarely paid so much on Homecamper), but he finally gave in.

  • A truly ideal place for families
Fabulous setting between mountains and river
Some improvements could be made, such as small wooden staircases on the paths leading up to the toilets.

  • We only stayed one night. The place is great, quiet in the middle of nature. Access to the river is suber. We made the most of it.

  • What can I say?

  • I had booked 2 nights in instant resa, It was cold and rainy those two days and coming from the north all July was under the rain. I couldn't go to the site because I was sick with a fever and had to make a second reservation at a hotel.
I warned the hosts but they neither replied nor offered any compensation (discount on future nights or other). So what can I say? It's done to answer people, especially when it's cashed and there's a constraint.
Instead, the owner told my friend that nature needed rain...I'm a militant vegetarian roots ecologist, but that's not the point.

  • A very warm welcome at Maxime's campsite!
A warm and friendly place, my children particularly appreciated the direct access to the river.
A very important detail: the sanitary facilities are spotless.
Thank you for this (too short) stay, we'll be back!

  • Small campsite on the banks of the Tarn, very pleasant and quiet. On the doorstep of several visits and hikes.
Just bring a long extension cord if you want electricity.

  • Super friendly, beautiful scenery, perfect campsite.
    Thanks for the warm welcome!
    See you soon :)

  • Superb Lozère location in an ideal setting on the banks of the river Tarn
    Partial catering available on site
Close to Florac where you can do a lot of hiking and sporting activities
    Everything was perfect
    We will definitely be back

  • Our stay at the campsite was simply fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and courtesy by the campsite team, who made sure we felt comfortable and well informed. The pitches were spacious, well-maintained and offered magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.

The sanitary facilities were always clean and well-stocked, a very important detail when camping.

But the real attraction of this campsite is undoubtedly its location. Nestling in the heart of lush natural surroundings, it offers an idyllic setting in which to recharge your batteries and enjoy the pleasures of the great outdoors.

In conclusion, our stay exceeded all our expectations. It's a place where you feel at home, offering a wide range of activities and services, all in a beautiful natural setting. We can't wait to go back!

  • Meets our expectations

  • A great experience

  • Lovely campsite, spotless sanitary facilities, little extras that make all the difference, such as the possibility of ordering pastries and baguettes for lunch, and a freezer available to campers for ice cubes..... very nice location on the banks of the Tarn. Great experience for us

  • A campsite with a natural feel, not too busy and therefore very pleasant. I recommend it.

  • My stopover was perfect.
The setting is sublime on the banks of the Tarn. Sufficient choice of shady pitches. No mosquitoes, no flies. Very quiet, not too far by car from all amenities in Florac. A pleasant welcome.

  • Great stay at Maxime's! Well-kept grounds! Bread and pastries on order, restaurant in the evening! River and animals for the kids! A corner of paradise!

  • Magnificent waterside location in absolute calm. An extremely well-maintained, clean natural campsite with open-minded, friendly and welcoming managers and staff. Highly recommended.
