Description

Asia in Pays-d'Auge ..... My wife is Thai, and we both have a Thai restaurant in Lisieux. Among our most memorable trips, we count Burma, Laos, Cambodia, India, of course Thailand where we keep coming back, and many other countries. We love to share, it is part of our values

The setting

In the middle of exotic trees, such as palm trees, banana trees, olive trees, orange trees, frangipani trees.... more than two hundred different varieties of plants are mixed together in a magnificent setting... We have also created a petanque court, installed an Asian straw hut, a buried barbecue, a fish pond completes the decor.... all in a green setting in the countryside... 25 minutes from the famous Normandy holiday beaches (Deauville, Cabourg, Honfleur) and 45 minutes from those of the landing. Animals are also masters in our house, parrots, turtles, peacocks, hens, roosters, quails :-) We have started to cultivate a vegetable garden, and during your stay, depending on the season and the harvests, I will be happy to offer you some varieties of vegetables, and aromatic and officinal herbs, some of them from far away countries.

The spots

The site is flat and secure, with two large, easily accessible sites for your motor homes, with electric hook-up. A part of the site is grassy and can also be used for your own use.

The sanitary facilities

Additional sanitary facilities are at your disposal. A bucket filled with water placed next to the toilets, will serve you for the evacuation. (even the toilets will remind you of Thailand lol) We have not been able to finish the installation for the moment but we are working on it, and offer you this complementary equipment to yours already.

The amenities

We do everything possible to offer you the best possible reception conditions. Two electrical terminals for connecting motor homes are available, as well as a drinking water supply, the possibility of having a barbecue with the one available, the emptying of your chemical toilet (cassette) in a waste water network, the use of a petanque field, the loan of extension cords on request...
We ask you, during your stay, to respect the place, the animals who live there a happy retirement in their enclosures, and the material which we will lend you gladly.

The activities

Being both restaurateurs of Thai specialties, and with a strong clientele already conquered, you will be welcome to taste our dishes, prepared by the boss who is an expert, on the spot or to take away at your place of reception. The city of Lisieux is ideally located, in the heart of the valleys of the Norman bocage, its central position places you close to the most beautiful beaches of Normandy, Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur, without forgetting the landing beaches.

The Basilica of Sainte-Thérèse de Lisieux is a place of pilgrimage and a tourist attraction in our city. The Cerza zoological park is located in a commune bordering Lisieux. The famous cider road, its farms and apple fields, are just a stone's throw from the site where you will be on vacation, not to mention the numerous castles and gardens, accessible in ten to 25 minutes, and the famous regional markets. You will also be able to simply take advantage of the calm that the Pays-d'Auge offers, to recharge your batteries.

Rules

My wife and I are close to nature, and want to respect it as much as possible. In this spirit, we ask you to make sure that your garbage, including cigarette butts, is picked up and not thrown on any part of the grounds. Children must be under the responsibility of their parents. We would like to draw your special attention to the welfare of our dear animals, it is important to us that our guests, young and old, behave in the most gentle and respectful way towards our protégés. We have also spent a lot of energy and time in the development of the garden, with its numerous plantations, which make it a unique place. We would be grateful if you would respect our plantations. The schedules are to be defined together, not living on the spot, we will ask for trust and discretion from 22 hours in the evening, for the peace of all.
