Description

We propose you to put your tent on the ground of our straw house in edge of river.

The setting

Our house is located in the countryside but close to the village and near Poitiers (10 minutes by car).
Our land is large, with few neighbors.
You can put your tent on the river bank or under the whole area below the terrace. Vans will not be allowed to park on the waterfront.

The spots

At this time, the entire lot can be used as a tent site from below the terrace to the water's edge.
Our lot is the one on the left when you turn your back on the house. The other two lots are recreational lots that we do not own. The access road is therefore co-owned. We will ask you to park in such a way as not to block the passage (near the garage or the trailer).
For the vans, the location will be close to the access road.

The sanitary facilities

There is a dry toilet outside in a shower tent.
There is an outside tap with a hose.
There is a possibility to take a shower at our place in the evening until 7:30 pm if we are there. We will see together.

The amenities

There is an outside electrical outlet on the terrace with a multi-outlet extension cord.

The activities

Our house is located 7 minutes from the Futuroscope and 10 minutes from Poitiers.
The medieval town of Chauvigny, 25 kilometers away, is worth a visit.
You can also download the Terra Aventura application which will help you discover the surrounding towns and villages with riddles.
Several sites also offer kayaking. If you have one, you can leave from home.

Rules

If you are a smoker, ashtrays with sand are available on the terrace near the outlet.

We are currently working on the exterior. We are going to make an underground greenhouse which for the moment is only a simple hole. There is rubble to delimit the space. It is not at all next to the camping sites.
