Description

We propose a stopover in our garden, in front of our house, in a quiet and safe place.

The setting

We're located on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Bordeaux, close to the ring road and Mérignac airport, on the road leading to the ocean (Lacanau, le Porge, Carcans...) and at the gateway to the Médoc.

The spots

You can "sit" at the front of our grounds, either on the grassy slabs or directly on the grass. Large gate and enclosed grounds.

Large shopping center 500 m away.

The sanitary facilities

Our own shower is at your disposal, and there are dry toilets and a water point in the garden.

The amenities

Just a few meters from your vehicle, you'll find an outdoor electrical outlet. No intensive use of electricity please.

We can provide you with a garden table and chairs, and even a covered pergola for rainy days (with a gas stove).

Wifi connection available

The activities

Nearby, the TBM bus and streetcar network allows you to reach Bordeaux by public transport, for rewarding visits without the hassle of parking.

It's possible to buy the necessary TBM tickets in advance (which you can reimburse me for at cost price, of course).

From here, you can explore the Arcachon basin, the ocean, the Gironde estuary, the Médoc...

Water sports, Bordeaux golf course, Médoc golf course, cycling, hiking - there's plenty to keep you entertained.

  • Great welcome and Isabelle was very kind, she prepared instructions for us to get to the streetcar in Italian. she gave us maps and useful info for sightseeing.
the site is on the outskirts of the city but the center can be reached very comfortably by streetcar. nearby great bakery and pub for eating.

  • We arrived in the afternoon and her husband received us very warmly. He showed us where we would sleep and all the extras speaking French and I Spanish we understood each other perfectly. His daughter in the afternoon explained everything we needed to go to Bordeaux by tram. Important if you arrive in the afternoon bring mosquito repellent. At night we did not notice them so much.

  • We were very lucky to be welcomed by Isabelle and her husband. They were very attentive and gave us good advice on visiting Bordeaux. We'll be delighted to come back. Thank you very much and see you soon!

  • What a pleasant night at Isabelle's, who didn't hesitate to offer me an aperitif in the evening and a little coffee in the morning. They were very accommodating and gave me great advice! They even set up a little table for me under a mosquito net, with pretty flowers on the table. Very thoughtful. Thank you so much!
