Description

Welcome to this 8,000 m² green setting. In a friendly atmosphere, La Petite Houmée is the ideal place to spend a stay close to nature, in unusual accommodations and conditions respecting the environment.

The setting

Thanks to its position on the top of a hill, in the heart of the Vonne valley, La Petite Houmée has been a frequented site since at least the Gallo-Roman period. We know that a villa was built there. On this site, various farms succeeded one another to leave place today to a house of dwelling probably dating from the 17th century, only vestige of these farms.

The spots

The Sibley tents are 5 meters in diameter and have a wooden deck. Each tent sleeps 4 to 5 people. Equipped with bedding, the beds are made upon your arrival. Electricity is provided in the tent.

The sanitary facilities

A fully equipped kitchen-sanitary area, covered and closed, will allow you to prepare your meals independently, 2 showers and a dry toilet are installed there. 2 other dry toilets are located on the grounds.

The amenities

Outside, a pergola provides additional dining space, with 2 barbecues (one gas and one wood) available.
Wi-fi is available in the kitchen-sanitary area, and the place has good 4G coverage.

The activities

5 hiking trails start from Curzay-sur-Vonne (1.5 kilometers). The village is also home to the Museum of Stained Glass and the workshop In Vitraux Véritas where it is possible to do initiation courses.
In Jazeneuil (7 kilometers) "La Belle Anée" offers you donkey or llama rides.
Numerous artistic and cultural or nature-related activities are within 30 kilometers.

Other things

From June to September an above ground pool of 5 meters in diameter is available.
