Description

A paradise just 15 minutes by bike or bus from the center of Lyon. Our house is located quai Clemenceau on the banks of the Saône, in a quiet, leafy neighborhood. Ile Barbe and the quays of the Saône complete this bucolic setting for beautiful walks. The town of Caluire, where the house is located, offers nearby amenities (market, swimming pool, walks, cinema, etc.) of the highest quality for your comfort.

The setting

The garden is a haven of peace in the middle of an orchard.

The spots

The site is large enough to accommodate one to three tents and leave bicycles in safety.
Electricity and Wifi are available.

The sanitary facilities

The site has no sanitary facilities. A camping shower (20-liter bag) is available. Public toilets are available nearby. If we are present, we can make our sanitary facilities available.

The amenities

A stove and saucepan can be lent, as well as a water tank.

The activities

Lyon can be reached on foot, by bike or by bus via the (upgraded) platforms.

Other things

Mosquitoes can be a nuisance for some: bring a repellent if necessary.

    Quiet, secure neighborhood.

  • We went there with my 2 children, a lot of mosquitoes on the site, the lamp post above is not great because light all night in the tent, the night was quite noisy (car starting and driving on the street above), positive point near Lyon and provision of electricity.

Emmanuel also brought me water in a bottle and offert me some of his vegetables from the garden. There was also electricity and wifi that I could use. The location is perfect for camping in the city of Lyon as it is also quite close to the centre. I can definitely recommend staying there. Thank you Emmanuel for sharing your garden with me :)
