Description

The "CANADIAN" 4-seater tent is a lodge tent allowing you to immerse yourself in nature.
Located within the mini-camp "Pont Rouge", a living space is also available where you can find: refrigerator, gas and kitchen equipment, electrical outlet, barbecue, games ...

Note: The mini-camp is composed of: 2 tents "scout" of 2 places; 1 tent "Bivouac" of 2 places and the "Trapper", insulated tent in cellulose wadding up to 7 places, as well as the "Canadian" of 4 places.

The setting

Along the greenway, the mini-camping composed of 5 pitches are located in a green and quiet area. Only the paths are mowed. Vegetables are produced in greenhouses and in open fields.
A parking lot is located in front of the old station of "Pont Rouge", 50 meters on foot are necessary to go to the cabins.

The spots

The "CANADIAN" tent is a 4 person tent with a double bed and a bunk bed. It is equipped with a gas stove and dishes. You have to bring your own sheets, but blankets are provided. A lamp is lent to you on your arrival since there is neither water nor electricity in the cabins.

The sanitary facilities

The toilets are dry toilets (1 close to the tents, the other close to the toilets). The shower is hot (gas water heater). There is a sink and a second water point near the living area.
There is light under the living area (light bulb) as well as in the toilets which allows you to take a shower when you want.

The amenities

Located in a mini-camp, the living space is composed of sofa, electricity, water, kettle, microwave oven, plancha, fridge, gas stove with oven, dishes, cutlery, dish. Some basic elements are also present...

The activities

Bicycle rides along the green way : the "voie Bressane" between Chalon/Saône and Lons le Saunier. Located between Louhans and Lons-le-Saunie, 2 cities to visit (tourist office); Walking tours between Saint Laurent la Roche and Macornay with a view on the whole Bresse; Swimming in Desnes; Games for children in Savigny; Educational farm in Sagy. Then you also have the thermal baths in Lons; the Jura lakes, the eagle's peak; the market of Louhans; small festivals (ex: the nights of August 4); and at home: festival "alimenterre" (documentary + discussion + dance); "soupe aux cailloux" with some storytellers...

Other things

When there is heavy rain, the ground can be quite wet. The mini-camp being recent, trees have been planted, however they grow at their own pace.
Vegetables can be offered: tomatoes, garlic, green beans,...
A deposit of beer, ash, apple juice, honey, vinegar is also set up with a system of piggy bank.

Rules

An arrival in autonomy is possible. Self-management is the order of the day. Cigarette butts in the ashtrays.
