Description

Hello ! We're delighted to welcome you to our haven of peace! Close to the town of Barbezieux and its shops, and to the N10 for Angoulême (25 minutes) or Bordeaux (1 hour), we nevertheless remain in a very, very rural environment.

The setting

We live in an old Charentais farmhouse. There are several outbuildings (including a hangar, with electricity, where you can shelter from the sun or rain).
We have a large garden with a stream on two sides, a vegetable garden where I hope to have something to share with you!
Please note that we have 6 cats and they are very interested in tents. I can't promise you that they won't jump on it, get in, take advantage of your sleeping area... They once made holes in a tent and I can't be held responsible for that. We also have two female dogs and some very friendly chickens.
You'll be lulled to sleep by the wind in the poplar trees and awakened by a beautiful morning choir.

The spots

We have a flat site on concrete for motorhomes, a large courtyard which can also accommodate you (but which is a little sloping) and several possibilities for pitching your tents in the shade of the poplar trees.

The sanitary facilities

A dry toilet and solar shower project!
In the meantime, we open our home to you.

The amenities

Electrical outlet under the hangar.
4g box.
Sheltered area with tables.
Reel/extension cord.
Please let us know your needs (kettle, stove, condiments) before your visit.

  • Very welcoming family, the house with animals dogs, cats hens, all quiet.

  • Perfect first experience as a home camper! Many thanks to Amity, who was very pleasant and welcoming. The location is ideal for cycling, and the environment is very quiet and green. We warmly recommend it!

  • Amity will do everything to ensure your stay or stopover goes smoothly. Sharing and conviviality. Quiet spot, ideal for pitching 1 tent.

  • An exceptional welcome, in these less than favorable weather conditions, Amity immediately offered her gîte, which was available to keep us dry. Many thanks! The breakfast was top notch and copious.
Don't hesitate. Just 2/3 km from the euro vélo scandberique and the village where you can buy everything you need to eat in the evening.

  • For a first homestay it was a wonderful experience!

Amity's site and house are 10 minutes from the Eurovélo.

The site is very large, very natural with lots of shady areas. With the added bonus of the various animals that dot the area.

As for the welcome, Amity and her family welcomed us as if we were members of the family!

    Everything was just perfect.
