Description

Looking for nature, to return to the essentials and sleep in the heart of the Earth? Our Cocoon made of hemp and lime welcomes you for a unique experience under the Great Sacred Tree overlooking the river...

The setting

Our estate straddles two worlds: to the north, the riparian forest of the Arc, the river that winds through Provence in the valley at the foot of the Sainte Victoire mountain.
To the south, a departmental road and, less than a kilometer away, civilization, with a business park and access to all the usual amenities. An oasis of greenery in the heart of a land of contrasts: the beautiful Arc Valley, with its vineyards, farmers, hills and modern business parks.

The spots

Our little alcove offers incomparable insulation thanks to organic walls made of hemp and lime. Nestled in the cool shade of our sacred tree, with a view of the forest and river, it's the ideal cocoon for a romantic stay in the heart of the essential. Equipped with a double bed, under the skydome allowing you to observe the starry sky, and a wood-burning stove in winter.

The sanitary facilities

Our sanitary facilities are 100% natural, with (phone number hidden)carbon impact. You'll have two dry toilets and two solar-powered showers installed in the heart of the forest, under independent management: meet at the independent reception area to get to know your neighbors and organize yourselves to benefit from comfortable and convivial shared spaces.
As you are being welcomed in a sensitive natural area that needs to be protected, we ask you to bring natural, biodegradable hygiene and sanitary products, thank you in advance :)

The amenities

Nestled under the trees on the edge of the forest, the self-contained reception area is fully equipped for you to set down your suitcases with peace of mind: hob, fridge, freezer, double washbasin, crockery, coffee maker, kettle, kitchen utensils, electrical sockets... it's all there. Our motto: share joyfully while respecting each other and taking care of the space! :)

The activities

During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to book a guided tour of the farm with its Guardians, or an introductory Permaculture workshop. (extra charge on reservation).

From scratching the donkeys and horses to harvesting the day's eggs and learning about Permaculture with your feet in the river, you'll discover a true oasis of biodiversity where all beings cooperate in one way or another.

Our Domaine is ideally situated to enable you to discover all the riches of the Provencal heritage: 10 minutes from Aix en Provence, 30 minutes from all the coastal beaches, between the Sainte Victoire and Sainte Baume mountains, you can discover the many vineyards in the valley and take full advantage of all the surrounding natural spaces: hiking, cycling, climbing, horse-riding, cultural events and typical Provencal markets...

Other things

During your stay, you'll have the opportunity (depending on the season) to sample our organic fruit, vegetables and eggs, as well as herbal teas and garden herbs.
If you'd like to help out, we offer solidarity rates based on participation in the farm's activities. Contact us for more details ;)
arrivals are between 4pm and 8pm, after which we resume our family life ;)

Rules

In summer, fires are strictly forbidden. A gas barbecue will be lent to you if necessary, and on certain evenings, campfires may be organized in a special container under the responsibility of the Caretakers of the site, in accordance with current prefectoral decrees.

For smokers, you are responsible for your cigarette butts and, above all, for managing the risk of fire. Thank you for your attention.

The Domaine is independently accessible at all times. We ask you to park your vehicles in the parking lot at the entrance (except camping cars and/or vans).

Your children are welcome to use the dedicated play area.

To ensure that everyone has a pleasant and peaceful stay, we expressly ask you :
- not to walk in the market gardens outside the paths provided for this purpose.
- not to throw anything on the ground and to use the garbage cans, compost and recycling facilities in the Perma camping reception area.
- not to make noise between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., except with the express agreement of the group!
- not to pick fruit or vegetables without our permission.
- not to leave your children unsupervised: animals and electric fences are present on the estate.
- not to feed our many animals without prior agreement :)
